Note: I wanted to get a lot more building in this one and have. But will get one more post out in a couple of weeks to showcase any epic fights and more Caldeira settlement building, to show what I am making of it for Arghrash to retire in as an awesome place for people to be!
This is the final straw as the stress is killing him
A quick stop off at Covenant to see Doctor Patricia for some radiation to be cured up, health to be replenished and to buy some supplies which included one lot of antibiotics, but also a bunch of stimpaks to be safe.
Snacking on the food currently being held and some water consumed, helped the issues with feeling weak which was due to a lack of food and water.
"I am glad I took out the raiders on the bridge and got back while I had the cover of fog to keep me safe" he said as he got through the long run to the new settlement, Caldeira and this is going to be a good time continuing the building and having this settlement become safer for all who come to stay and join him.
Once some more items had been stored in the chest near the workshop bench where it is safe, Arghrash built the recruitment beacon on top of the roof he was starting to make a spot that others have a tough time getting to.
Additional supplies were required for building more walls, doors, protection. Food was required and he knew of one place possible to get those.. Sanctuary was told to have quite a few supplies ready!
"Stupid bloatflies are so weak and having less supplies or weapons still shows them who is the boss" an agitated Arghrash thought before being able to peacefully scavenge up supplies for Caldeira, things like a little concrete, more metal and wood and bits and pieces lying around the place which will do for now..
Was only a few bits of food in the form of some plants back at Sanctuary. His original base though, he knew that had a solid amount and that is where he headed, skipping passed any fights and getting to all that yummy food to be planted in Caldeira so all settlers have food to eat, once they come due to the recrruitment beacon.
As he made his way back to the settlement and through the city, he realised something didn't quite feel right.. this turned into a Mr Gutsy robot finding and shooting at him, with rapid fire machinegun bullets and it did not tickle that is for sure.
After then killing off some raiders while hiding among the buildings, Arghrash got distracted and fell victim to Mr Gutsy and its high damage output, seeing a death and to not go that way again.
"Now that was a safer route even though I came across a few enemies including a wild dog and radscorpion. But now, I am back at Caldeira and safe, ready to build more."
First order of business started with planting a heap of the Mutfruit plants, 10 to be exact and then the settler that had arrived to live here, would soon enough start working on maintaining the trees as part of their work.
Next thing was to build some beds in the neaby building on the other side of where the chest and workshop bench was stored. It was the only viable option but was going to need boarding up the windows for added protection. This was accomplished with some wood walls directly in front of the broken windows and this already made it a lot safer, doors would come yet.
The water purifiers behind the bed and workshop bench buildings would be pulling in some water pretty soon. They had been working for a bit in the purification process but yet to be checked for how much is ready to drink.
Metal walls were built to better protect the chest with all the good stuff stored in it, machinegun turrets he had were moved around to better position two of them in order to get them covering an open spot, but also the water purifiers in case that area has anyone come around for raiding.
Some more machinegun turrets for extra defence was going to be a nice thing to get except for one thing. There is not enough oil to make them run so it was off to search for some and this next location, the North End Crypt, well it wouldn't have any but it would have a great fight up close and it wasn't the protector robot!
This crypt was not without some ghouls coming over to greet Arghrash and the legendary would be getting in for some good hits while it was weakened down, a mine had to be placed to kill the weaker ghouls while the legendary went limbless and struggled to continue the fight until Arghrash had finished it off.
"All that is left now is for looting up and getting back to decide what else to build in Caldeira. I think the machinegun turrets will have to wait for now" he said to himself while getting some nice loot among the trunk, bags and toolbox and it will get used well by the settlers.
