I really enjoyed playing World War Z, but would be the same to need a change from it as well.
It is good you can play with her and still enjoy it, but plenty of other games to be enjoyed as well!

I've been trying Return to Moria lately but didn't really like it after a few hours. Dark and Darker wasn't my cup of tea either. Will be trying a new top down souls like called Mark of the Deep that just released today.
Hopefully Mark of the Deep takes your interest, it is sometimes hard to find games to enjoy these days
