Got somethin' that might interest ya! Heheheh! A game where you take all the guns and gadgets I sell and then neatly pack them all into that grid lined suitcase no one ever sees you carrying around! It'll be more challenging than you think and you'll really have to use your head to make it all fit. So, what're ya buyin'??
Save Room by Fractal Projects is a clever puzzle game heavily inspired by the inventory system of Resident Evil 4. You have Leon's suitcase/attaché laid before you and you need to be able to fit all the given items into it. And I mean all of it. Every last flashbang, red herb, and ammo box with a single bullet in it. Use your majestically quaffed head of hair to organize the heck out of your recent merchant shopping spree!
~ To Sum It UP ~
We were looking for a game that we could easily pick up and play for a few minutes here and there while juggling a few other bigger titles and Save Room fit the bill perfectly. Little did we know though that it would hook us completely and we would end up finishing it in just two sittings with only a break to eat between each session. There were so many clever little things you needed to discover and keep in mind during each puzzle, and it kind of blew our minds. And while I’d love to gush over what those mechanics are, I think that would ultimately spoil the fun for anyone who hasn’t played the game yet.
We honestly can’t recommend this game enough and found no real flaws to speak of. The only thing people may potentially have a problem with is the game's deep roots in RE4. If you haven't played it before you might struggle with a few of the game's mechanics and puzzles as there is no tutorial or explanations given on how to play. However, with a little exploration everything is completely accessible and can be figured out even if you aren't familiar with the lore. It just might take you a minute or two more. There’s nothing obtuse to hold you up, just pure organizational enjoyment.
