UpLand is a cryptocurrency integrated virtual real-estate game that's I've been involved in for multiple years now. One of the things I enjoy the most about these types of small time projects is watching them grow and become all the more compelling as they update. For the past year or so I've been unplugged from the Play2Earn scene after selling the majority of my accounts when Splinterlands was booming. Still, there are a few projects that I show up to every few days or weeks because I have major investments and need to keep the plates spinning.
First, I'm about to lay out years of work, the holy of holies, my system. If you find yourself interested in this game I only ask you visit my Referral Page and use my code. It's one of those little things that helps keep an author like me up and running. Now let's get to it!
How to UpLand
My UpLand system has always been extremely simple. After making some small investments ($50-100) to collect a few properties in the games infancy (2018 maybe?) I show up twice a week to collect my rent and any random power-ups my 'UpLander' has found wandering around the city. Watch the markets in the least popular cities. Reinvest rent into low-income properties often buying them for ~$3 (the set market bottom).
By targeting properties I can get as cheaply as possible I complete 'collections' which up's my rent multiplier. Every month or two I would grab more properties, complete a 'collection' of three properties in a city, and move on the the next city with cheap properties to buy. All the money I make gets reinvested and now I have a very nice property portfolio including an address in Manhattan I regularly get $150+ offers for even though it has never been for sale.
Thats it, 100% of the money I make is immediately reinvested and I complete the simplest collection for multiplier.
There are all kind of games, scavenger hunts, and other stuff you can do but I ignore all that. Honestly, I'm involved with UpLand because they have a PayPal integration and they are the clear winner in the 'Crypto Real-Estate Game' scene. That might seem hyper niche (and it is) but, as this game is only growing, my plan has been the optimal path to a good foundation.
Catching Up with UpLand
So, today I'm logging in to grab my rent and I started clicking around and found all kind of new updates in UpLand. Better still, they were my favorite kind, the kind that pay.
UpLand now has a Mission Center page where you can earn all kinds of UPX, the native token of the UpLand ecosystem, for learning how to play the game. I thought I knew most of what UpLand hand to offer but, as I kept completing quests that was clearly not the case.
The UpLand MetaVerse
I got involved with this project when it was in it's infancy and a real building phase. Since then they have clearly been busy! Let's take a look at what I found:
There are now 3d spaces you can walk around, racing games, and all kind of marketing tie-ins with major motorsports and soccer leagues. Again, none of this is the type of nerd I am but I'm really glad to see the world I own a portion of getting up and running over the past 5+ years.
It's wonderful to see game play showing up. Play2Earn games have been sorely missing that.
Thanks for spending some time checking out the games I love with me today. I hope it was enjoyable for you. Please let me know if you have any questions I can assist with.

I've heard alot about this game, and am finding it difficult to start, cant one start without that 50_100$ investment for buying properties?
Unfortunately, as this is a real estate management game, without some investment you will have no properties to manage. Some investment will be required to get up and running but it would be very possible to start UpLand only paying $20 (for maybe 3 very cheap properties).
I hope this is helpful :)
Yahh much appreciated will look into this
