One of my favorite combinations in Splinterlands is the summoner Astral Entity and the monster Legionnaire Alvar and in this post I will explain why I like this combination.
The summoner Astral Entity is a legendary summoner from the death deck and he has 3 functions, they are:
Decrease the armor of enemy monsters by -2.
Grant the Dodge ability to allied monsters.
Have the Resurrect ability.
Decreasing the armor of enemy monsters is very useful in battle since melee and ranged attacks need to destroy the enemy monster's armor first to cause damage.
The Dodge ability increases the monsters' chances of dodging melee and ranged attacks by +25%.
The Resurrect ability brings back to battle 1 allied monster that was defeated.
The summoner Astral Entity is one of my favorite summoners with the death deck and he becomes an even better choice when I use the monster Legionnaire Alvar.
Legionnaire Alvar is a legendary monster from the neutral deck and he has 3 abilities, they are: Void Armor, Giant Killer, Demoralize and Deathblow.
- The Void Armor ability makes magic attacks deal damage to Legionnaire Alvar's armor.
- The Giant Killer ability makes Legionnaire Alvar deal double damage against monsters that cost 10+ mana.
- The Demoralize ability makes Legionnaire Alvar decrease the melee attack of enemy monsters by -1.
- The Deathblow ability makes Legionnaire Alvar deal double damage when there is only 1 enemy monster left in the battle.
The reason Legionnaire Alvar is a great combination with the summoner Astral Entity is because of his Void Armor ability, which makes Legionnaire Alvar's armor useful against all types of attacks and he has a lot of armor, so when the Resurrect ability is used on Legionnaire Alvar, he will return to battle with 1 health and 100% armor, so for him to be defeated again, enemy monsters will need to destroy his armor again and this will make Legionnaire survive longer in battle and be an even better defense.
Legionnaire Alvar is also an excellent choice to reduce the melee damage of enemy monsters, he also causes a lot of damage in battle, especially against monsters that cost 10+ mana, so in addition to being a great defense, he is also a great source of damage for the battle.

This battle is a good example of how the summoner Astral Entity and the monster Legionnaire Alvar are a powerful combination. While it's not the best battle I've had using them, it's enough to show how effective this strategy is.

O motivo do Legionnaire Alvar ser uma ótima combinação com o summoner Astral Entity é por causa de sua habilidade Void Armor, isso faz com que a armadura do Legionnaire Alvar seja útil contra todos os tipos de ataque e ele possui muita armadura, então quando a habilidade Resurrect for utilizada no Legionnaire Alvar, ele vai voltar para a batalha com 1 de vida e 100% de armadura, então para ele ser derrotado novamente os monstros inimigos vão precisar destruir a armadura dele novamente e isso vai fazer com que o Legionnaire sobreviva por mais tempo na batalha e seja uma defesa ainda melhor.
O Legionnaire Alvar também é uma excelente escolha para diminuir o dano melee dos monstros inimigos, ele também causa muito dano na batalha, principalmente contra monstros que custam 10+ de mana então além de ser uma ótima defesa ele também é uma ótima fonte de dano para a batalha.

Essa batalha é um bom exemplo de como o summoner Astral Entity e o monstro Legionnaire Alvar são uma combinação poderosa. Apesar de não ser a melhor batalha que eu tive utilizando eles, ela é o suficiente para mostrar como essa estratégia é eficiente.
