I haven't played GW2 in quite some time because it was too all-encompassing of my time in general. I had gotten to the point where i was simply grinding for legendaries and my goodness does that take entirely too long.
I do remember the Halloween stuff though and like most people I would just join a group and do that maze over and over and over again. After 3 hours of that or so I kind of look at my life and think WTF are you doing?
I did have a good time in there for a while though but I doubt I will ever return. I never really took to the lack of their being defined Healer/Tank/DPS classes and I know that GW was trying to avoid that but I still think it was a mistake.
Back when I was playing most of the map was completely devoid of other players unless they were following a map event trail and that was also boring after doing the circuit a couple of times.
Oh gosh, yes. I still don't have a legendary, although I've been working towards one.
I love the Halloween event with its brainless farming! It's so relaxing when you've been doing too much thinking ;-)
There's still plenty of players, but they are spread out across a LOT of maps I guess. Mostly, I find players in cities or when there's events going on, or in WvW.
