This was my first introduction to rogue-like games and while I thought it was fun and played it a lot I started to almost hate the whole "starting over" if you made just a few wrong moves in a fight. The fact that what weapons you ended up with was seemingly random and some runs could be ruined by this. I think that Hades did the rogue-like better than Dead Cells, but it was still a pretty solid title and I enjoyed probably about 10 hours of it. .

I personally consider hades to be an excellent roguelike game, the only thing different is that dead cells itself is ¨Roguevania¨, its category seems confusing to me at this point, even so it's worth dying to hear that amazing soundtrack and animation.
