I could not play this for years, because I could not afford a PC/laptop, but now I have a laptop again, and this is the second game, which I installed on my brand new HP 15s laptop. Second Life runs perfectly. One fun side of Second Life is the fact that its entire world is built by its users, so it is constantly changing. Nowadays there are even NFT galleries in it. For example the GEM NFT Gallery.
Because of the constantly changing world, everything is loading in real time, while we play. Nowadays I am using mobile internet, so I am not going to play this game for hours every day. It would consume a lot of mobile data. Not to mention the voice (it is possible to communicate by voice, I hear other players), and the music (the game is playing various internet radios and musics on various places).
There is so much to explore in Second Life. There are many things in it. It is a virtual world. And the "world" is very expressive. It is huge.
By the way, I created my Second Life account in the same year as my Steem/Hive blockchain account. I created my Second Life account earlier.

I mentioned one fun side of this game above. Another fun side is the fact that the in-game currency, the Linden Dollars (L$) have real value in USD. There is an exchange on the website, so you can withdraw what you earn in-game.
I currently have L$322. This currently worth $1.29 USD. The minimum amount to sell is $2.50 USD, so I currently cannot sell my L$.

I am not a developer/designer, especially not a skilled developer/designer, but it is still possible to earn money in Second Life. Of course not much.
Today I use various games in Second Life to earn money. For example gold hunting and fishing. There were reward clovers and traffic cones in the past, but I see that those are no longer available today.

I did a few things. Gold hunting, fishing. These are still available. I also did reward clover hunting and traffic cone jumping, but nowadays these are not available. All of those are fun to do. I also did other things, but I currently do not remember them. I remember finding gems. This is/was similar to gold (coin) hunting, but I do not know whether this are still available or not.
