The Valkyrie is indeed one of the most powerful ground troops in Clash Royale, a perfect mix of offense and defense. With a rare rarity categorizing, this unit is highly valued in many decks. At level 14, the Valkyrie own an impressive 2550 hitpoints, allowing her to endure considerable damage on the battlefield. While her speed is slow, she compensates for this with massive area damage and exceptional damage per second (DPS). In fact, at level 14, she can deal 250 damage per second, combined with 250 area damage, making her an invaluable asset for clearing swarms of troops and dealing significant damage to ground units in her path. Her skilled and raw power make the Valkyrie a must-have for players seeking a formidable ground force in their deck.
In the world of Clash Royale, one of the most iconic and favored troops, Valkyrie, has received a significant enhancement, further solidifying her position as a powerful unit on the battlefield. Known for her strong spin attack and formidable presence in the arena, Valkyrie now enters a new evolutionary phase, with upgraded stats and a brand-new ability that makes her even more formidable.
The Evolution of the Valkyrie
The Evolved Valkyrie now boasts notable improvements that increase her effectiveness and make her an even more crucial asset to players’ decks. Here are the key upgrades that make this evolution so powerful:
Increased Hitpoints
The Evolved Valkyrie now comes with 2,700 hitpoints, a substantial increase that makes her far more resilient against enemy attacks. With this upgrade, she becomes a more reliable tank, able to absorb damage and persist on the battlefield for a longer duration. Whether deployed as a defensive unit or as part of an offensive push, the enhanced hitpoints ensure she can endure more punishment than ever before.Upgraded Area Damage
Valkyrie’s signature spin attack has also been significantly upgraded, now dealing 350 area damage. This makes her incredibly effective at eliminating swarms of enemy troops, such as Skeletons, Goblins, with ease. The increase in area damage ensures she can clear out groups of units more efficiently, allowing her to maintain control over the battlefield.New Mini Tornado Ability
In addition to her improved hitpoints and area damage, the Evolved Valkyrie gains an exciting new ability: a Mini Tornado effect that she creates while spinning. This ability pulls enemy troops toward her as she attacks, disrupting their positioning and preventing them from effectively executing their strategies.
Strategic Implications of the Evolved Valkyrie
The Evolved Valkyrie is now a highly versatile unit capable of fulfilling several key roles in a deck. Her combination of enhanced durability, upgraded damage, and disruptive ability makes her an essential choice in a variety of strategies. Here are a few ways to maximize her potential:
- Tank and Support: Due to her increased hitpoints, the Evolved Valkyrie can now effectively serve as a tank, absorbing damage for your more fragile units.
- Swarm Control: The upgraded area damage makes her an ideal counter to mass troops. Whether it’s defending against a Goblin Gang, Minion Horde, or Skeleton Army, the Evolved Valkyrie can quickly clear out these units while maintaining her presence on the battlefield.
- Disruptive Tactics: The Mini Tornado effect adds a new dimension to her utility. By pulling enemy troops into her attack radius, the Valkyrie can disorient and disrupt well-placed enemy units. This ability can be used to break up defensive formations or to draw enemy troops away from your towers, giving you a strategic advantage.
Now, let’s dive into the action and see just what the Evolved Valkyrie is capable of.
1ST MATCH
My first opponent was EXO, who had 8400 trophies. He proved to be a skilled player, as he had almost 600 more trophies than I did. He was using a Royal Hog and Archer Queen fast cycle deck, which required me to be very cautious. At times, this quick cycle became quite frustrating.
He responded with a full offensive push, using the Royal Hog and Ice Spirit. Unfortunately, my Tesla was out of rotation, which made defending against the Royal Hog push particularly challenging. I initially used my Ice Spirit to freeze the hogs, followed by a Log, but that alone wasn't enough to stop the push. As a last resort, I deployed my Valkyrie, but it was too late, and I took significant damage.
It was now time for a counterattack. I placed my Hog Rider behind the Valkyrie to apply pressure on my opponent. The Valkyrie acted as a tank for the Hog Rider. As predicted, the opponent deployed his Cannon to counter the Hog Rider, but I had prepared for this move. I used my Earthquake spell on top of the opponent's tower and the Cannon, which allowed the Hog Rider to remain alive. With the Valkyrie still tanking, the Hog Rider was able to continue its advance. To counter the combined push, the opponent deployed his Archer Queen, but remarkably, the Valkyrie was able to defeat the Archer Queen in battle.
As the Valkyrie engaged with the opponent’s troops and towers, the Hog Rider took the opportunity to deal significant damage to the opponent’s left tower. With the assistance of an Ice Spirit, the Hog Rider successfully damaged the tower, reducing its hitpoints by 2800.
I destroyed opponent's left side tower using "FIRECRACKER". He dropped his royal hog. To defend this push, I used my building type card Tesla. But I didn't know he has Earthquake spell that he used on Tesla to destroy the building quickly. I decided to ignore the royal hog and pushed my troops to right side tower of the opponent. But that was a wrong decision. The opponent almost took down my left side tower where my push against the opponent was total waste.
My left side tower was standing with only 297 hitpoint. Any time that tower could go down. But EXO tried to create a pressure on the right side tower. He released his royal hog. But I had already prepared my defense against it. I dropped tesla and the Evolved Valkyrie.
Exo used his Earthquake spell but the Valkyrie killed all those hogs with only two swing. I decided to counter the opponent so I used my hog rider. Exo miss placed his cannon. So the hog rider wasn't destructed, well connect to the tower and gets two shots on the tower. In the mean time, I used "FIRECRACKER" for extra damage. She got 342 splash damage on the tower.
Opponent tried to apply the double lane pressure, Royal hog the the left and Archer Queen to the right side tower. I knew it was impossible to defend the left side tower but still use Tesla. and for the queen, first use the ice spirit to freeze and after that the Valkyrie. He did go for the queens ability that makes her invisible.
The authorized three minutes of play had ended. From both, one tower down. Thus, an additional two minutes were granted. The opponent pushed the tower to the right side, using up all of his Elixir. The queen and the royal hog combined to make the attack deadly. but I made a strong defense of that. Tesla was used to prevent the tower from being damaged by royal hogs. There, Valkyrie was assisting. I also destructed the queen using Skeleton.
Now it was time to push back. Used my Hog Rider along side the Valkyrie. As I predict, he drop the cannon but I used the ice spirit to freeze the cannon. Hog Rider two hit and the cannon destroyed. He used log but he miss placed it.
After that the opponent already knew that the game is over. 2 Valkyrie was on the battlefield and there were nothing he could do so he just said Good Game and give up.
The Evolved Valkyrie has proven to be a game-changer in this match, showcasing her impressive durability, upgraded area damage, and the disruptive Tornado ability. Despite facing a skilled opponent like EXO, who had a fast cycle and powerful units like the Royal Hog and Archer Queen, the Evolved Valkyrie was the key player of my strategy. Her ability to withstand heavy damage, clear swarms of enemy troops, and disrupt the opponent’s attacks made her an invaluable asset throughout the match.
In the end, this match exemplified how the Evolved Valkyrie can be the key to turning the tables, with her enhanced stats and new abilities offering a fresh layer of strategic depth. Whether as a tank, a swarm-clearer, or a disruptive force, she proves her worth in a variety of situations. If you’re looking for a powerful ground troop to solidify your deck, the Evolved Valkyrie is certainly a must-have.
Clash Royal was one of my favorite games. And valkyrie was the must-use troop in my deck. But that was before the evolution. I never played with the evolution valkyrie.
