So, in the last part of Assassin's Creed II, Ezio managed to sneak into the art gallery and killed Messer Uberto who used to be one of his father's friends. If you haven't read the post, here it is for you :

After successfully executing Uberto, Ezio rushed back to Paola's house to become an undercover. The streets of Florence were full of tension as the city was on high alert. The powerful and influential magistrate, Messer Uberto, is killed. The Templar Order's guards flooded every corner, their lights searching for only one man, Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
But Paola knew exactly how to handle the situation. She explained to Ezio the oldest trick in the book :
Many had been spared because of this age-old technique, which Paola believed was essential to regaining his freedom in Florence. He acted quickly, tearing down wanted posters that were posted on the city walls. However, that was insufficient. Ezio paid a large bribe to a well-known herald to further diminish his reputation. This ensured that the man would spread positive rumors about him and silence the charges.
With the red alert lifted, Ezio knew it was the perfect opportunity to get his family out of Florence. The city was no longer safe, Templar eyes were everywhere. His only option was to take his mother and sister to Monteriggioni, a town far from the chaos. There, his uncle Mario resided, a seasoned warrior who could offer them protection and guidance.
I can say Paola was very much into Ezio. She wanted him badly. When Ezio was saying goodbye, she kissed him and told him to visit her.
The road was full of guards. I was very tense because if any of these guards noticed me, it would be trouble. To avoid any kind of trouble, I hired a group of singers. They were singing around us and distracting the others so that the guards wouldn't notice us. Finally, they were able to make their way out of the town
But an unexpected situation was waiting just outside of the town. Remember that bloody fool Vieri from the first fight. Somehow he got the news that Ezio was leaving Florence, so he was waiting for him with some guards to kill Ezio.
When all the guards were about to attack them, Uncle Mario reached there with help. He and his forces, along with Ezio, defeat the Vieri's Army.
The fight was hard. There were too many of them. But Uncle Mario was skilled, and he fought very well to defeat them.
Ezio and his family had finally found safety after landing at Mario's home in Monteriggioni. On the way home, Mario described how the Auditore family's ruin had been planned by the Templar Order, which was led by powerful and dishonest men. Uberto was merely a pawn, but Vieri de' Pazzi, who was an arrogant Templar, was more dangerous.
He was ready to leave immediately and strike down his enemies. But Mario stopped him. He warned and told him to learn some fighting skills first. Rushing in unprepared would only lead to his death. If Ezio wanted to survive and take on the Templars, he needed to become stronger. Mario decided to train his nephew personally. Ezio learned some fighting skills like counter-attack, defence, and new fighting methods that would make him a true Assassin.
The next day, Ezio heard bad news. Vieri de' Pazzi was planning to attack them. He knew about the conspiracy, and he was connected. So, to make a strong position in the Templar order, he decided to strike down Ezio. But his uncle has a spy who leaked this information. That is why Mario and his men went to kill Vieri.
Ezio felt sad. "Why did everyone let me? I am a warrior too", he said to himself and decided to join their course. He ran out of the house, got on the horse, and started the journey. He was determined :
When he reached there, everyone was talking about the plan. His uncle became tense when he saw him here. Ezio wished to join in the battle. Then his uncle told him the plan.
The plan was simple but risky. First, they had to get inside the city where Vieri and his men were. Mario, with his warriors, devised a distraction to draw the guards’ attention.
While the guards were occupied, Ezio made his way to the outer wall. Ezio will have climbed the wall, gotten inside, and opened the gate.
Everything worked as planned. Ezio and his team easily defeat the guards. But killing them wasn't the real plan. "Ezio, go and search for Vieri", said his uncle. Ezio starts searching for him from one roof to another.
After searching through the fortress, Ezio finally spotted Vieri de’, deep in conversation with several high-ranking members of the Templar Order. Hidden in the shadows above, Ezio listened to them carefully. "I’m very worried. It would be a big problem if Mario found out about our plan." Vieri admitted.
Ezio smiled to himself. "We already know, Vieri, and this is your last day." He immediately shares his location with his allies through signals.
Mario and the soldiers immediately began a violent attack on Vieri's men. However, Vieri retreated to a safe position at the top of the tower, watching the chaos happening below. From there, he believed himself untouchable, but he underestimated Ezio.
Scaling the tower was no challenge for Ezio. Vieri and his men got into action and began an aggressive assault as soon as he reached the top. They surrounded him with blades that glowed in the moonlight.
But Ezio was prepared. The training he had received from Mario had transformed him into a lethal fighter. Using advanced techniques, he battled fiercely. Each guard fell one by one. Despite the overwhelming numbers, Ezio won the battle.
Enraged, Vieri attacks Ezio with great fury. But Ezio cleverly dodges the attack and plunges the Hidden Blade into Vieri's chest.
After the victory, they all gathered in Mario's home for a celebration. But not only celebrating was their motive but also planning for their next move.⚔️
