The new fighting game based on the universe of Saban's TV series, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, is going to become the first cross-platform multiplayer game between 5 platforms.
In June the title will be released on Google Stadia. Where the game will also have crossplay between all its platforms.
As of today, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, already allows crossplay between Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. By joining Stadia, users will be able to play together no matter which of the five platforms they are enjoying this title.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid was officially released in March of last year and has been adding new fighters over the years. With version 2.0, released this year, all players, regardless of platform, can participate in ranked or casual games and create rooms regardless of platform. Those who have several versions will also be able to benefit from cross-progression, maintaining their progress on all platforms.
And you, what do you think about this news?
Is crossplay beneficial?
