The Last Birthday Dinner Before Lockdowns (throwback)

in Eating Out3 days ago

Time for a throwback Thursday moment. These birthday dinners are the last ones we had before lockdowns began when COVID hit. I went out once for my birthday and later on my mom's birthday one month before the world shut down.

I miss the pre-epidemic times. I went out of town October 2019. It was the last normal year and I didn't even know it
In the top photo, I ate at a place called the Outback Steak House or something and the bottom photo was Cheesecake Factory

I love both those restaurants. Seems we haven't really recovered from Covid at least as far as night-life and the food service industry. I miss pre-pandemic life too. Shit just keeps getting weirder!

Here's to 2025 and hopefully a return to something that might be deemed fun, entertaining, and an awesome new normal!

Playing Life Is Strange made me wish I can travel through my photos to go back to pre-covid times (watch my lets plays of the game to understand)

oh wow are you from California? Damn cheese cake factory is so OG haha. I love steak too.

By the way, I'm not sure if you're aware but I have a competition for this month if you want to enter make sure to follow the requirements!
