Hi everyone. Every once in a while I do like a bit of Indian food or Pakistani food. I head out to Karahi Point. Karahi Point has multiple locations in the Toronto area and in the Greater Toronto area (just outside of Toronto).
Photos taken from my Redmi Note Pro 13 phone.
Interior
I forgot to take outside photos but I did take photos of the inside. This place is quite large and there are some nice colours here.

The dine-in menu can be accessed by scanning to QR code. You let the waiter know which dishes you would like to order.
Food
We ordered four dishes plus naan bread. These were:
- Chicken Pakora
- Chicken Tikka Biryani
- Lamb Biryani
- Lamb Karahi (Half)
We wanted to try their Lamb Brain Masala but they did not have them available. Maybe another time.
Chicken Pakora

Chicken Pakora is pretty much fried chicken pieces in a near ball like shape. The pieces are not to big but each piece has a good moist chicken pieces inside. It is not too spicy.
Chicken Tikka Biryani
The chicken in the Biryani dish is pretty good. It was juicy and moist cooked chicken. The Biryani rice is soft and fluffy too. Good stuff.
Lamb Biryani
Lamb Biryani is pretty good too. Rice was great and the lamb pieces were soft.

Lots Of Leftovers
The Biryani dishes did not seem big as they were presented in a bowl. These bowls are deep though. When we got leftovers to pack there was a lot of rice.
It was 102 CAD after taxes. (Before taxes it came to 90 ish dollars.) The Lamb Karahi is the most expensive dish. These days dining out is expensive in the Toronto area. Minimum wage is around 17 CAD per hour in Ontario I think. We dine out every once in three months and prefer to cook at home, do take out orders or buy prepared foods at Asian supermarkets.
Prices at Karahi Point is reasonable for the most part. It is cheaper than going to Italian restuarants plus the portions at Karahi point when it comes to Biryani is quite big. Now we know lol. We would visit again for dine-in or for take out.
Rating: 9 out of 10
Nice attractive hanging ornaments or decorations. The dishes must be good at this restaurant coz of your high rating; they look authentic though. When there's a lot of leftover, we also take it home and reheat for next day's meal. Yes, once in a while, it is nice to dine out and try eating at restaurants we've never tried before. I guess you will come back to this place next time. 🙂
