Introduction
What's up guys. Market's been a bit red for a little shakeout before Trump becomes president. I had to dca into some positions and I went into some good tech ai projects so they should bounce back sooner or later.
Anyways, I'm back with another eating out post. I'm still catching up on my food posts because I still have a lot of restaurants to share from the holidays. I went to Eat Drink Thai with my family at the Taman Bukit Desa branch during the holidays and I will do a short review on my experience eating here.
Eat Drink Thai @ Taman Bukit Desa
Eat Drink Thai is a halal Thai restaurant that specializes in Thai food. I looked at google and it showed that they have 7 branches. The reviews are almost all over 4 out of 5 stars so it was definitely worth a shot trying this restaurant. The one I went to with my family was the one that had the best reviews among the branches as you can see from my screenshot below.
Food
For this dinner, we ordered some dishes and shared it among each other so we could try the different varieties of food.
This was the green curry chicken. If they had beef, I would've made sure we ordered that but sadly there was no option. I liked the green curry chicken. The key to this dish is the curry and I think they nailed it.
If I'm not mistaken this was the papaya salad. Honestly, I can't comment on this because I didn't eat it but I heard it was good from the people that did eat it.
This was the stir fried basil minced chicken. It was a bit spicy but still ok for me. I am kind of neutral on this dish. I didn't feel it was amazing but I also didn't feel it was bad either.
The tandoori chicken was solid. I feel it's kind of hard to go wrong with this one. I think it could've been better but it was still good!
We also ordered this fish with sweet, sour and spicy sauce over it. The fish was surprisingly tasty. The fish was a barramundi which is an Asian sea bass if I'm not mistaken. I liked this dish and I think others did as well seeing how fast it was gone.
For dessert, we all had mango sticky rice. If you're not ordering mango sticky rice for dessert, you're missing out. The mango sticky rice was good as it should be since this is a core staple in any Thai restaurant.
As for drinks, I had a green tea milk tea. It kind of reminded me of chagee jasmine green milk tea. I liked this drink!
Concluding Thoughts
I don't have the receipt for this one. My grandpa paid for this one. As for my final thoughts, I enjoyed the food here; I wouldn't mind coming again. The service was amazing and the waitress did a good job at upselling us more dishes to order. All in all, I'd give this place a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I still think there's room for improvement but it's definitely worth going to so if you're in Malaysia and near the Taman Bukit Desa area give this branch a try.
Thank you for reading and the support. Please do share your eating out moments in the eating out community! Hoping to grow this community.

Thai food is guaranteed to be delicious if the rujak has a sour taste. I like it, there used to be one in my city but now it's closed. Thai food is certainly delicious, especially since it looks like fresh tasting Thai drink. I like it. Thank you.greetings.
