Greetings!

Welcome to another update of my chore in removing the weeds and wild grass on my vegetable garden. This time I did the chore between my old ribbed loofah and my young black seed string beans crops.

Like I said a few times before, removing weeds and wild grass is a tough chore, I sweat a lot, and my palm and fingers ache the following morning, not only that, most of my body actually aches the next morning.

But as days pass by my body is adjusting to this type of chore and I enjoy it very much since I love what I am doing. What I am doing is not rushing to finish it since it is a very tough chore sometimes I need to stop because I am feeling some pain in my chest while I am swinging my pickaxe or pulling my rake.

Add up the scorching heat of the sun which makes me breathe heavily while my clothes are soaking wet in sweat.

Removing Weeds and Wild Grass

Just like the previous chores I used my pickaxe to dig up the roots of the weeds and wild grasses so that they will never grow up again.

Below are before and after photos of the section of my garden where I removed the weeds and wild grasses.

Before After
Below is a short video of me while I am beginning to remove the weeds and wild grasses in my vegetable garden. As you can see in the video I am fully covered because the sun is hot and the gloves are for protecting my palm from blisters. It may look easy but it is not, but as long as you love what you are doing, the word hard is out of the equation.

A short video of me while I begin the chore using my pickaxe.

Below is another video of me as I am about to finish the chore. I think it took me more than an hour before I am done. At this moment I am already very tired and my clothes are soaking wet in sweat.

Here's a video of me while I am about to finish the chore while my son can be heard squealing with joy while he is chasing our duck pet named "Blackie"

Installing Solar Light on my Garden

Since my whole garden is very dark at night I installed some solar lights so that I can see my garden even at night. Below are the photos of the solar lights that I installed using bamboo poles.
