Mistakes, failures, and unexpected things happen always in gardening. In a way I like them.
I planted bitter melon seeds at the end of last month, but the germination rate was zero.... I want to eat bitter melon in summer! So I rushed to order bitter melon seeds from a different seed stores, and they arrived today 🙌
The first batch had zero germination, but thanks to that I could find organic and white bitter melon seeds. Now they are sitting on the heat mat.
Failures occur, and it is important to know how to recover from them. Gardening and knitting teach me a lot.
I hope the seeds will germinate this time for summer for me to cook Goya Chanpurū (stir fried bitter melon with tofu, egg and other veggies).

先月末ゴーヤの種を植えたのですが、発芽率ゼロ・・・。でも夏にゴーヤは欠かせず、違う種屋さんに種を注文したのが今日届きました。
第一弾は発芽率ゼロでしたが、おかげでオーガニックのゴーヤの種や白ゴーヤのの種を発見できました。先っちょをちょっと削って、早速ヒートマットの上に置いて発芽を待ちます。
何事にも失敗はつきもの、でも、そこからどう立て直すかが大事ですよね。ガーデニングや編み物からはそんなことを学びます。
夏にはゴーヤチャンプルを食べたい！！！ということで今度は無事発芽しますように🙏
