Hello, good evening to all lovers of gardens, plants and their care. I had some time without talking about mine and how I have been spending with them in this drought so fierce and with such high temperatures that we have had since last year.
I always dedicate myself to clean the garden, remove the weeds that appear, prune the plants, and water them as long as the water factor is not scarce. When this happens, this process becomes very complicated and they suffer serious consequences.
I have been noticing that some plants are not progressing even though I water them constantly, in fact, some are on the verge of giving up. When this happens, I am forced to make an inventory in my garden to check what I have and what I am missing, what elements I can use, and which ones I am obliged to buy, and thus begin a process of restoration of the plants always with the illusion of not losing them and seeing them leafy and beautiful again.

In this case, a garden inventory would be a list of the plants and elements that are in it, what resources I have to solve the problems that are arising, what new tools I should acquire, and thus repair the plants that have deteriorated, and replant some of them.
The process yesterday consisted of removing the dry leaves and twigs from the plants, pruning those that were very wiry, as in the case of my lemon balm plant, which when it expands, it grabs the soil and also the ends until it gets entangled in the other plants. Some leaves begin to deteriorate due to the presence of a large population of insects, such as bees, wasps, butterflies, and other small animals that feed on it.
After taking inventory of my garden, I noted the following items:
-Some need to be transplanted.
-I have to make a new compost bin for all of them, such as the oregano, which is very deteriorated.
-Purchase of compost, black soil, and moriche compost for the ferns because it is what keeps their roots moist.
-The plants in hangers should have a base of moriche but it is very expensive, so I have implemented small pots to plant them, to these I must put fertilizer again to restore some that are very dull as the “bad mother”.
-Buying and improvising new pots for some plants with children.
It is a process that will take me a little more than a month, then I will show you the progress. Having a garden is equivalent to an investment, it is not so simple, even more so when high temperatures and drought affect the plants, but those of us who like them, make an effort to revive them so that they can continue to offer their beauty.
