Hello dear friends !
Like every week, I wanted to share with you the progress of our home garden experiment and the growth of "our" plants in the shared gardens.
As you can see on the picture below, our windowsill has become full of leaves, but also flowers and newborn fruits. This picture is from Saturday 11 June 2022, what an incredible progress !
It amuses me a lot because we have been living in this flat for 6 years and I had not had the idea of such a structure. There were plants of course but never anything so "ambitious"...
As a reminder, I had planted three climbing beans and the tomato plant had been given to me by a gardener friend.
Here the climbing bean flowers continue to appear regularly.
Our first bean ! Soon ready for harvest, I feel that the first pan will be memorable ^^
Below, you have the tomato flowers which are doing well, the first one is starting to grow its fruit. Again below, a more general view of the tomato plant which is growing a little bit more each day, but which I have decided not to prune. I know my tomatoes could grow faster, bigger and tastier, but as this is my first tomato crop, I consider it almost sacred, so I hardly touch anything :)
But let's move on to the other garden, the one we joined nearly three months ago... After the closure of the space where our plot was, we moved most of our plants into pots and we had installed these on top of a wall, above a still accessible plot... One thing leading to another, we "conquered" a lot of space and I think we finally have the biggest space in these shared gardens !

Plums from trees that were already there and usually make my lunch when I am there.
Below are the cucumber plants that we planted late, but I'm still hopeful, as always!
My four (small) lemon trees that remind me every time of me and my three brothers and that I repotted a couple of weeks ago...
Corns are growing beautifully ! Still late, but I'll make up for it in the next few years :)
Finally, I repotted this bunch of tomato plants that were growing very tightly ! I didn't have any bigger pots available, so maybe I'll have to repot them again... To be continued in any case !
That's about it for this Sunday update, but I think it's pretty good ! What do you think of it ?

Bonjour chers amis !
Comme tous les weekends, je voulais partager avec vous les avancées de notre expérimentation de jardin à domicile ainsi que la croissance de "nos" plantes dans les jardins partagés.
Comme vous pourrez le constater sur la photo ci-dessous, notre rebord de fenêtre s'est bien chargé en feuilles, mais aussi en fleurs et en fruits naissances. Cette image date du samedi 11 juin 2022, quelle incroyable avancée !!
Cela m'amuse beaucoup car cela fait 6 ans que nous habitons dans cet appartement et je n'avais pas eu l'idée d'une telle structure. Il y avait des plantes bien-sûr mais jamais rien d'aussi "ambitieux"...
Pour rappel, j'avais planté trois haricots grimpants et le plant de tomate m'avait été offert par un ami jardinier.
Là ce sont les fleurs de haricots grimpants qui continuent d'apparaître de façon régulière.
Notre premier haricot !! Bientôt prêts pour la récolte, je sens que la première poêlée sera mémorable ^^
Ci-dessous, vous avez les fleurs de tomates qui se portent bien, une première commence à faire pousser son fruit. Encore en dessous, une vue plus générale du plant de tomate qui prend chaque jour un petit peu plus d'ampleur, mais que j'ai décidé de ne pas tailler. Je sais que mes tomates pourraient se développer plus rapidement, être plus grosses et plus savoureuses, mais comme c'est ma première culture de tomate, je considère cela comme presque sacré, alors je ne touche presque à rien :)
Mais passons à l'autre jardin, celui que nous avons rejoins il y a bientôt trois mois... Suite à la fermeture de l'espace où se trouvait notre parcelle, nous avons déménagé la plupart de nos plantes dans des pots et nous avions installés ceux-ci en haut d'un mur, au dessus d'une parcelle encore accessible... De fil en aiguille, nous avons "conquis" beaucoup d'espace et je crois bien que nous avons finalement le plus grand espace de ces jardins partagés !

Nos premiers haricots en complète synchronisation avec ceux du rebord de fenêtre :)
Le basilic qui pousse lentement, mais avec une ardeur régulière et finalement irréprochable ..!
Des prunes venant d'arbres qui étaient déjà sur place et qui font généralement mon déjeuner le midi lorsque je suis sur place.
Ci-dessous, ce sont les plants de concombres que nous avons semés en retard, mais j'ai tout de même bon espoir, comme toujours !
Mes quatre (petits) citronniers qui me font à chaque fois penser à moi et mes trois frères et que j'ai rempotés il y a deux semaines...
Les maïs qui se développent à merveille ! Toujours en retard, mais je saurais me rattraper les prochaines années :)
Pour finir, j'ai rempoté cette foule de plants de tomates qui poussaient bien serrés ! Je n'avais pas de plus grands pots à disposition, donc un prochain rempotage sera peut-être à prévoir... Affaire à suivre quoi qu'il en soit !
Voilà, c'est à peu près tout pour cette update du dimanche, mais c'est déjà plutôt pas mal je trouve ! Qu'en pensez-vous ?
