Quick Update about my husband's garden-Summer time

in HiveGarden7 months ago

Two months have passed since I last shared updates on my husband's garden in my article. I decided not to provide an update because there have been no significant changes or new developments worth sharing.

Our garden used to have tomatoes, spring onions, chilis, and sword peppers. Additionally, we have a lemon tree in our front yard.

Here are some of the photos taken on April 4, 2024.

The only cucumber plant near our laundry area finally bore a fruit, which I harvested. The cucumber plant has stopped bearing fruit and is now in the process of dying.

Before pulling out the tomato plants, hubby harvested all the remaining tomatoes.

Our spring onions are almost dead now.

In our garden, our chili and sword are still bearing fruits. Compared to other plants, I believe the chili and sword peppers will have a longer lifespan.

In the tropical climate of the Philippines, I ensure hydration for our lemon tree by watering it daily in the mornings.

Upon observation, it is evident that each plant is presenting growth of new, youthful leaves.

I also observed some flowers on the plant, and I believe I also saw a small fruit from it. I am excited to see the lemon fruit growing each day.

Oh I've seen some insects in the lemon tree

That's all for today's garden blog. There's not much to update though. Hopefully, we can have more vegetables and other plants in the rainy season.
