Hello everyone hope everybody is doing great and happy today and especially to all our friends in different countries.

Last night I was very worried about my crops because of the heavy rain caused by typhoon henry. And I prayed that the rain would stop immediately and it did stop but I saw that the whole area was covered with water. So I'm really worried because the vegetables might get damaged or fall over. And I thought that when I woke up I would immediately check it. And when I woke up earlier, I immediately went to the garden and checked if there was any lying down or if the fruits had fallen, but fortunately everything was fine.

And I was very surprised by the red okra because I didn't realize that it had fruit. In my last post about my okra, if you read it, I wrote there and promise that let's check together if the fruit of this okra is really red. So it's really red and it's the first time I've seen red okra and when the seed was given to me I didn't really believe it was red because I've never seen okra like that. And I told my sister that maybe the person who gave me the seed was making up a story that the okra is red so I could accept it and I laughed at the same time. But I am grateful to that person because out of all the people who could be given, I was chosen to plant red okra. And im blessed that she trusted me to take care of this okra.

And as I checked my tomatoes, I was happy because I saw the fruit of my patience and perseverance and especially for not giving up on planting it even though I failed several times. And this is how many fruits my tomatoes have and how healthy it is. Maybe for almost 1 year I tried to take care of tomatoes and now it's a success.

As for the eggplant, it is still giving fruit and I picked it almost every other day. And sometimes also give to neighbors, friends and relatives.

And the new eggplant is already bearing fruit and I'm excited to pick it one day and I'm excited to know the breed of this eggplant because its seeds were just given to the Department of Agriculture here in our Municipality. Because there is a program where they give seedlings to farmers and I was one of those given.

And my pepper that is long green is one was also given away and it was seen that the fruit is smooth and long. At first I didn't want to plant it because I already have a lot of it but I also thought about the breed and I also wanted to see the fruit so this is the beautiful one.

IMG_20220901_082623.jpg

And my old pepper kept a lot of fruit and a lot ripened every day.

And my green okra, which is long and round, is now blooming and has many fruits. It's also a new breed and it was given to me. And I started to pick it too. Right now it's just a little because it's the first time I've picked it and next time I'll pick a lot because all okra have flowers and small fruits.

And my ampalaya after several months of care and waiting is that I have already picked three because it was the first to grow and next time I will pick more because ampalaya has many small fruits and flowers.

And I'm sorry about my appearance because I just woke up and I can't stop taking pictures because I'm happy with my vegetables.

And the string beans are fine and thankfully because they didn't fall down in the rain last night and I have picked a lot of them almost every other day as well. I was more stressed here because there were a lot of insects but it was taken care of. Of all the vegetables, this is the one I always check because if I skip two days without seeing it, it will be full of aphids, so I'm really careful with string beans.

IMG_20220901_082545.jpg

And also my sweet potato is beautiful to look at, it crawls well and I have picked it once and I made a sweet potato salad.

IMG_20220901_082410.jpg

And the kangkong remained fat and flourishing and I always picked it.

And after I checked my garden I immediately took a shower to go to the market and I also thought of visiting the squash in the corn field and it was recently harvested. This is where I thought of planting the squash because it needs a large space to grow. I was also worried about it last night that it might have been flooded or covered with mud. And I'm happy to see that it's okay and that it has small fruits and one big and especially that it still has flowers.

That's about my garden today and I hope you enjoy it.

How are your vegetables in the garden? Hope it's fine like mine.

And thanks for dropping by. And I hope you will join me again in my next post.

BYE everyone 😘
