actually, no:( we've a nice variety , as you've mentioned, but so much of veggies or fruits to preserve them for a winter;(
as a rule I try to buy some to put into my fridge because fresh berries or veggies in winter are so adorable! in markets they all are not naturasl at all:(
and do you preserve anything for winter?
We do! We don’t have a really large freezer but it’s a good enough size where we can freeze a fair bit of food for the winters. Last year we froze the farm fresh food that we cut up throughout the end of the summer and got it ready for the winter. I was eating a soup once a day with a little bit of meat in it 5 out of the 7 days a week in the winter so it saved quite a bit of money! Plus it’s all freshly frozen so the nutrients are at their peak which is great!
I love freshly frozen berries, we go picking and immediately throw most of them in the freezer which is great.
