Hello dear friends of hivers, greetings and a hug for all. First time I share in this community, it is a pleasure and pleasure to connect with you. I wish you a happy start of the week and may you achieve your goals in the coming days. I feel very pleased on this day and I am glad to be able to share with each one of you an experience that I lived yesterday.
Those who know me know that most weekends I go down to Caucagua where my parents live, Caucagua is a sparsely populated land with very virgin land, where cultivation and planting is the norm.
Now in Venezuela we find large crops of Mango, an exotic and delicious fruit that is very coveted at first sight and in the palate a delight. For those who know this fruit there are many types of mangoes, from the mango perita, hilacha, manga, manga pineapple and endless flavors and textures that only by tasting we can appreciate.
Fortunately where my parents live there are currently many mango trees, my mom told me Crisly as you arrived a little late we gave away the mangoes we had, if you want you can get up early tomorrow and you will see that wherever you go you will harvest mangoes. I told my mom yes.
I got up early and so I did, I started walking, I took a container and wherever I went I picked mangoes. It was so exciting to live this experience, the sound of the roosters, breathing the humid earth from the rain at night, seeing and appreciating the beauty and perfection of the mangoes.
Something that moved me this morning was a childhood memory. When I was about 10 years old I lived for a while at my grandmother's house and in mango season I remember that we grandchildren would stop early to pick the mangoes that had fallen, we would compete and when the afternoon came my cousins would ride to bring down the mangoes to sit and make our mangos aliñados (unforgettable).
I think this morning has been so full that I could only be grateful and at peace, beyond the harvest that I was able to achieve this morning, was to appreciate the goodness that Mother Nature gave me and to remember those moments of childhood where we are so happy.
I thank the creator and his perfect creation for giving me this morning so enriching, kind, reflective and full of so much love. Here I leave loaded to take mangos home. In Guarenas, where I live I have to buy mangoes, today I just have to give thanks.
Without more to say I say goodbye very happy and content, thank you for taking the time to read me, share and support in each post. I hope to share more content for this community and continue learning from this beautiful world of gardening and cultivation.
