I didn't realize you could plant sliced tomatoes. I always thought the seeds needed to be separated from the rest of the tomato and left out to dry before planting.

Same here, I did not realize it the first time. But I became curious when some of the tomatoes that I am throwing are germinating on their own that is when I tried to plant sliced tomatoes and they do germinate. If you are able to follow my blog, I have been harvesting tomatoes that I planted the same way in my vegetable garden. Good evening.
