RE: Miniature fuchsia - a tiny show stopper

in HiveGarden2 years ago

My mum has few fuchsias. One is the "normal" (I think) red and the other one is pale pink with white. Both very nice and she keeps propagating them. But she grows them in pots as they probably would not survive winter in the garden.
Your is adorable! I didn't know such small one exists.

Uff, I found it on peakd, must have been an ecency app glitch 🙈 (I commented on your recent post that my post has disappointed 😢).

Always makes me smile to see a comment from you Ewcia. So they do grow in Poland too! Maybe now they became more popular, cause before I left Poland I never noticed them.

Yeah, winters in Poland are much colder, so maybe growing them in pots and hiding in shed or something for the winter works better.
I had a tiny cutting growing in big pot and that one never survived.

I also never saw a tiny one like this, hence why I immediately bought it. Also never saw these in nurseries till today. Makes it even more special 🥰

I actually have no idea :D I don't think I have seen them around and I don't know where my mum got them from.

Lots has changed since I left 18 years ago. I get a surprise every time a go there to be honest.

When did you move?

Ohhh sorry for the late reply.

Its 13 years already... but really doesn't seem this long. Every time I visit I see the changes. Especially in Wrocław... its just getting prettier and prettier :)

That’s a long time, but time seems to be flying as we get older, don’t you think?

I haven’t been in Wroclaw for a while. When I lived in Poland it was where I changed trains to go to my family in Zary and sometimes it was a few hours wait, so I would take a stroll around train station area and shops 😁

Definitely! It's not fair :p
