I watched the whole video.

...I don't have time for that method. I just throw everything into huge piles.

Eventually, it breaks down.
It takes years, but I got space for it...
Rarely does this get hot enough, so I have a lot of active seeds in there, still.

Also, I don't grow in pots, as that would mean more work for me.
I just try to ammend the soil that's already here.

As for commercial compost:
People are willing to pay good money (especially commercial organic growers) for consistent compost.
Everything will rot eventually, but to make similar compost every year is not an easy task, at all. It's what pros need, though.

sounds good. eventually everything breaks down.
I have to get rid of old plants, leaves, and grass clippings, so Might as well make something out of it. By keeping it compact, that gives it a chance to neat up enough to kill weeds n seeds
