Hello everyone
Planting several types of plants in a field may be very fun, on this occasion I would like to share a little of my experience about gardening with all my friends, I live in one of the inland areas where the majority of the residents here garden, there are various types of plants that are very suitable for nature in this area, but for now I am focusing on two types of plants, namely coffee plants and chili plants because I think this is the It suits my soul, but other residents grow tomatoes and others because the soil here is very fertile and very suitable for people who like gardening.
A few years ago I and my family lived in a remote part of this village to garden, coffee plants became my choice, the age of my coffee plants is now almost 9 years old and now our coffee plants are almost in their twilight years, maybe only a few more years we will cut them down and replace them with new seedlings, Why do I choose coffee plants? Because currently the coffee plant is one of the types of plants that are going global, our regional coffee beans are famous for their very delicious taste, kapi coffee beans have been exported to several European countries, although what we know today is that the king of coffee in Brazil, but our coffee plants are also not far from other countries, The price at the place of coffee bean farmers is sold for $4.5 or if in Indonesian currency Rp 70000/kg, a very fantastic price for us coffee farmers today.Although the care process is very complicated in coffee plants, if not people who are experts in caring for coffee plants, of course coffee plants do not bear fruit.
Every four months we start extra work to clean the bottom of our coffee plant, the coffee leaves that have dried up and piled up under us will clean them by pulling all these dried leaves on the edge of the coffee tree or in the coffee plant alley, we do this work when we enter the dry season, the moss that has settled on the bottom of these dry leaves during the rainy season will dry out with the sun, We wait about two weeks and the leaves we pull them back in because these leaves will be a natural fertilizer that is why we dry them first and we will destroy these dry leaves before we sow them back in the circle of the stems of our coffee plant.
It is familiar to me if I have to tell you about this, the trail has certainly become one of the favorite roads for people in remote villages, because no one cares about our life here, the government in our country only takes the fruits of our harvest, but our fate will never change, if the rainy season arrives we here very rarely go far from our homes, You can imagine for yourself how slippery this road will be if the rain continues to pour over our village, we are here very familiar with the weather, of course, for the preparation of staples for our daily needs, of course it is approaching the rainy season we have to provide a lot of money for shopping for the next month, but if the dry season we also suffer from air pollution and dust on the streets steaming up, of course we have to use masks to prevent it, The life of the farming community is not happy, everything is wrong, but we still enjoy our life here.
This is the appearance of our simple house, nothing special with our situation, but we feel very comfortable living here, there are no fancy buildings like in the city center, only a few simple huts that we occupy, but there is a neighbor of mine who built a two-story house because this neighbor of mine is a gardener, he has the most gardens in our village, If I calculate, it may be able to reach tens of hectares, but for us with this two-storey building it is very beneficial for us, because in our area there is a time when the elephant season falls, of course we will all stay at this garden owner's house, the person is very good in our opinion.
Under this tarpaulin there are several types of robusta coffee seeds that we have sown a few months ago in polybags, we always stock some seeds of this coffee plant in case our coffee plants are attacked by pests and diseases, sometimes in our place the weather changes and is very influential for coffee plants, lately the weather is not good there are some of our coffee plants that are starting to get woody, Most of what we know that happens to our coffee plants is stem rot disease, this is one of the diseases that is very dangerous for coffee plants, there is no medicine that is able to cure plants that have been affected by stem rot pests, one of the solutions is to replace it with new seedlings.
In the wrapped tarpaulin is one of the coffee beans that we are drying in the sun, but sorry I didn't have time to take a picture of it during the drying process due to the drizzle starting to fall and we hurriedly wrapped it so that it would not be damp anymore.
We took the initiative to add one of the easy plants of the curly red chili type in the alleys of coffee plants naturally and without using mulch, I think there is nothing wrong with us planting here once we take care of the coffee plant, of course we can also take care of our chili plants, the age of this curly red chili plant is four months and thank God we have picked it several times, The unfriendly price forced us to collect green.
In the field next to us, we also plant young chili plants as well, but with different brands and chili plants, we use mulch.
What happened, this chili plant was severely damaged by several types of pests, the difference of two months from the curly red chili plant overwhelmed me to prevent various pest diseases that are affecting this one chili plant, only a few percent of the good plants remain, and I hope this good one is not contagious.
I have sown these chili seeds 25 days ago and we will plant them around 40 days old.
This is the appearance of the land that we have prepared for the chili seedlings earlier, this one hectare of land for a chili capacity of around 50000 thousand chili seedlings, we will work with our family, our days are our work, while I was taking pictures of the land suddenly someone was passing by someone who had just returned from the garden and I caught it.
Thank you very much to all of you who have taken a little time to read this post of mine, hopefully it can be useful for all of us.
