Wow... The process is very good way to plant onions, I am sure they will grow to the maximum, to be honest I have never planted garlic, but with the way and process you do it is worth trying, for onion plants I have planted it, but unfortunately I did not get the results I wanted, the rainy season is not the right time to plant shallots.

I need to try onions again.. I messed up last time with them and started them in soil and tried to transplant them.. they did not like that and died.. hopefully growing them the right way will help.
Maybe you will have better luck with yours next time and it wont rain on them so bad.
Yes, it's absolutely true as you say, of course I will follow the way you do it, if the heavy rainy season in my area has a great influence and has a big impact on my friend's onion plants .
