Welcome to the new prompt for this week! It's great to see people getting into the swing of things for the #creativegarden - from haiku to beautiful prose and philosophy, your posts are really refreshing!
The prompt 'the language of flowers' certainly got us thinking:
I know that when I am in my garden and thoughts come to my mind, I often wonder if I had that thought, or if it was told to me by some other entity in my presence. For instance, when I notice that the tops of my peppers look a bit too tired, had the peppers just called out to me to inspect them, to ask me for help of some kind? Or was I simply observant in that moment? How much of what I choose to do out there is a result of my intelligence, or of some other, more intelligent, intelligence? - @owasco Knowing
Science lover @gentleshaid in this post considred the 'intricate ballet of botanical life' and the 'perpetual cycle of birth, reproduction, and fruition' in a beautifully written piece.
The silent drama of nature continues, echoing the grandeur of life's perpetual choreography using the language of flowers. A language only a few can understand.
@proto26 wrote a gorgeous poem in this post - here's part of it:
Flowers, flora, blossoms, inflorescence
That which you desire
You accomplish through the physical
Your flashy petals, sultry smells
@sofs-su wrote a rather romantic piece about the 'consolation of flowers'
Flowers speak the language of love, be it in joy or grief, celebrations or fun flowers speak the language of love in everyone. Even birds and bees find comfort and consolation in flowers.
@umirais had similiar sentiments:
The language of flowers is the language of life, when a baby is born into the world, many people express happiness with flowers. Feeling happy because there is new life, flowers symbolize joy because of love life.
As did @multifacetas and @albohada, who saw softness and beauty in flowers.
This week it's @proto26 and @multifacetas who wins 1 HIVE plus 75 percent of the post rewards go to @gentlesaid.
Let's Move On To This Week's Creative Challenge...

- Write a creative non fiction post about a garden memory
- Draw, paint, sculpt, write a poem
- Write a comedy script
- Write from the perspective of an animal or a tool in your garden!
