Does this generate a root ball? And then do you remove the root ball to plant elsewhere? I am having a terrible time with a boring insect that is attacking the base of my fig trees. It bores tiny holes and the whole bush dies. I think your technique may be a good way for me to save some of the stock and plant elsewhere.

yes, this generate for a root ball. for 3 weeks this will produce roots and be ready for planting. Can use onions or aloe for root hormones. Just apply it on the stem before grafting :D
