I remember trying the cardboard pots in the past too. The only problem is when it get really sunny and hot and they dry out super fast, so sometimes I’d loose a seedling here and there. Otherwise I love that they’re friendly for our environment 💙

You sure do have a lot going on and it all looks wonderful. Saving seeds from one year to the next is so gratifying. Like everything else the price of seeds have also increased.
I loved reading about the Astronomological Calendar and what to plant and harvest when the moon is either in the waning or waxing stage. This is all new to me and learning something new is something I always enjoy.

Yes, indeed also saving seeds from fruits you enjoyed in your mouth is definitely different 🤗 maybe they sprouted so well because we actually had them in our mouths ahaha- many people also put them in the mouth before planting, our saliva transmits our individual information such as our health-based needs and more to the plant which is so fascinating! 🌸💚
Glad you learnt something new, it really is magical to participate in the growing phases of nature like that; we also grow alongside them as well in sync when we look at it that way!

True! It made me contemplate a lot also about the energy flow inside me and my psyche lately. Got to make note of how I feel when the moon is in those different signs, as well as how my energy is when it's planting time and when agricultural work is better avoided because of different influences.. very interesting and exciting to observe and investigate 😊 Have a great week and happy gardening! 🌸

Observing and recording, and then experimenting and exploring based on that, can bring immense awareness, and with greater awareness comes greater understanding, and with that comes great capability! Like you said, contemplations and cultivating Awareness 😉 Making time for that inmidst of the gardening tasks.. in the end I want to grow as well, in sync with the garden. Reminds me a lot of Alchemy, they say the biggest transmutations happen to the practicioner, not only to what he practices it on 😊

I just LOVE your seedbank boxes! That's probably the best use I can think of for those beautiful old pill boxes. And your germinating looks amazing, such vibrant, eager little plants, wanting to grow and prosper!

Yes they do dry out super quick when they are not in the plastic! I usually use them to start the seedlings before I move them to an individual pot 🤗
Yeah, sometimes I leave them too long and that’s the result 🤷🏻♀️
