Today, I am going to share some plums from my garden. The Plum tree is the best thing which grows in our garden. The Plums are not only good-looking but the taste is just mind-blowing. The tree doesn't need any special care but the only problem which we faced was birds. Especially, the Pigeons loved the flowers and buds of Plums. When we shifted we didn't know about that tree. But then we saw some fruit on it we were surprised by its taste. This Plum's taste slightly resembles the taste of a Peach. The first time when we ate that fruit it was very little because the birds ate their flowers and buds. Then after studying and researching a lot, we find the ball the big ball which we hung on the tree in order to prevent damage from birds and for the prevention of its fruits. And guess what the next year we got too many Plums (the previous year). This year we again put the ball when we saw the birds start eating the flowers. so, we save many Plums. Now, Plums are very beneficial for our body. It contains many nutrients and minerals. Plums are rich in iron. It also contains calcium and phosphorus. They are a very good source of Vitamins and fiber. It contains anti-oxidant properties. It helps to lower down the blood sugar. It also helps regulate the hormone adiponectin, which regulates blood sugar levels. It also helps to reduce the risk of many diseases such as cancer, heart-related diseases, diabetes, osteoporosis and other chronic disease. Plums are full of fiber so constipation and other digestive problems may ease by eating it. They also contain potassium and magnesium. In short, this fruit is full of benefits as it has vitamin C in it so also good for the skin.
Have a look at these Plums which came after the flower petals fall around 10th May of this year. This one is the close-up.
Here, you can see the little Plums from different angles.
They grew up and came up like this in the month of June. I took these pics on the 12th of June. So, after one month they looked like this. Big enough.
They looked like this at the end of June and the beginning of July.
Well, they started ripening in the middle of this month I mean I took these pictures around the 19th of July. Once they start turning red from green. It hardly takes 2 weeks as they are ready to eat.
Well, here you can see the fully ripened Plums. All are ripened within a week and 60% of them I think are harvested by us. These pictures were taken at different times in the past few days.
These were plucked by our friends last week. That was the first harvesting of this season's Plums.
That was officially our first harvesting for us. Although some of them were slightly sour because we plucked them early.
I like the Plums on the tree which is why I click them from different angles in order to make a better post for you.
I clicked these photos today. Look at the bright red colour. They were very delicious and sweet.
Today's cultivation.

Oohhh... they are looking good! We just planted two plums... I hope they will do as well as yours!
What a good strategy to place that ball to prevent the pigeons from eating the flowers and fruits, you were able to harvest a large amount thanks to it, although I feel sorry for them, they are just hungry haha 😂
How pretty and delicious they look, I love plums ❤️
They look delicious. These plums are exactly the ripeness I like to eat. Some people like to eat plums when they are soft, but I like to eat them when they are firm.
Having fruits from own garden is very nice. these freshly picked plums look very delicious. :)
We appreciate you!
