A tiring month when the weather is irregular. How could it not be, even this time I did not concentrate on my hydroponics at all. You can see how my garden did not contribute well at all, after yesterday's harvest. Decided not to plant for 1 week and there were no seedlings that were processed at all.
It's just that, because the rain was pouring down on this city after 10 days, I was very lazy to plant and what happened was the failure of the seedlings that I was going to plant. So I waited for the right time, where the sun began to shine stronger without being covered by black clouds due to the rain.
Even so, I have several other plants that grow very well. Eggplant which is my father's favorite, this is the result of a few months ago planted from seed, then he made several eggplant pots so that they could be eaten for kitchen needs.
This egg plant has quite good resistance to irregular weather, is more resistant to pests and other disturbances. Even so, if you don't have the skills in planting, the leaves may not grow well. For example, when my father planted 5 pots of eggplant trees, only 4 grew very well. One tree is surviving and has not yet produced flowers for its place to produce eggplant.
I have heard that one of the uses of eggplant is high antioxidants. Especially eggplant that has a deep color, like the one we have, the deep purple color of this eggplant is really charming. In fact, anyone who sees it knows that this deep purple indicates a fruit that has good quality. The size is also not that big but not too small. This is the first fruit from the eggplant tree after almost months of being planted from seed.
Luckily, this time I can finally enjoy eggplant, because I really like eggplant dishes, especially if they are boiled and given a little shallot and chili, with a little sauce from lime juice and salt. You know, that food will increase your appetite.
Likewise with eggplant, we also have tomatoes that are also bearing fruit for the first time, after being planted on the tree for a long time. The tomatoes we planted are not red like tomatoes in general, this time I really want beautiful green tomatoes.
This green tomato is very sour, the texture is similar to a regular tomato, but a little harder like a persimmon or plum. What I like about green tomatoes, they are not so soft but can be eaten very well and the taste is also a little sweet. Strange, but I like them better than the red ones.
