I know your feelings about not having your own garden and despite of it making the garden in your way wherever it is possible.
Also, doing something for other members of family and them not utilising it is familiar to me.

Yeah it can be a struggle for sure! I am glad that at least my mom waters the garden when I am away. I do hope you can find a garden of your own, even if it is just in pots like mine.
