The dry debris continue to increase. The leaves, branches and stems look pale in their current state. The whirlwind continue to display it duties by blowing around these dry matters. All the atmosphere is always warm with the inception of the hot sun. Despite the second rain just few days ago, all the tropical zones continue to be warmth. This can be ascribe to daily accumulation of heat from earliest November. The visible result is continuous burning of vegetation cover which we always want to curb since it has been bringing devastation of living organisms and disturbance of the ecosystem.

One of the saddest of this issue is the fire outbreak triggering in human settlements. One news recently A police and his family were found dead due to fire which hit their room during the night. No one heard to rescue them. Again, there was the same bad news recorded that a woman and her daughter was also found dead due to fire outbreak. The situation is becoming serious on the daily basis. We need to found amicable solution to curb this happening before it gets out of hand.

My problem is that some of the food crops, fruit crops and many plantation plants are tool fragile to withstand firebreak. Cocoa, oil palm, banana, mango and many other crops keep longer time to restore or regain their structure when they are burnt. The dry maizes and rices on the field would burn completely. The outcome result is increase in famine by humans and animals. I have been saying that, the first and second rain is like a petrol which has sprinkled one the vegetation. Due to this , education is given to the early farmers which intend burning the debris in their cleared land to exercise with patience. We encourage them to consult the fire volunteers for assistance and advice about how to burn their cleared dry matter.

One of the commercial and local fruits which come in abundance is mango fruits. Apart from those that are originally grown by farmers, we have those local ones that are naturally grown in forest. The fruits of these mangoes become source of income for children in the tropical areas. They pick the riped ones under the mango 🥭 trees during the mango seasons in April - May. During this bush burning, most of the flowers and emerge fruits of these mangoes are shed on the grown when the head of the smoke from the fire outbreak blow around them. This would definitely reduces the mangoes fruits supply. The children wouldn't get money for their daily expenses which would reduce the over burden on their parents.

This banana was captured a place which prone to fire outbreak. The bunches are so healthy and would mature very soon. it needs protection by making some fire belt around it so that when there is fire outbreak it wouldn't hit the leaves. One problem is that, the leaves around the base get dried very early so little fire would cause all burnt including the leaves. Banana 🍌 too has higher price compare to plantain which are of the same family of Musa species.

This cocoa tree nearly got burnt through bush burning which hit this area. Cocoa isn't like "Tectona grandis"(Teak tree) that is able to withstand fire. Teak can sprout when it gets burnt. But cocoa can't survive again when they are burnt.

We are on the look out on how to protect our vegetation cover so that we don't cause mess. We are preventing food crises around the globe. Most areas would be affected locally. And exportation for foreign income would also decline if care isn't taken. We don't want to see many people suffering due to fire outbreak.

We want your thoughts how best we can solve this situation. your contributions are welcomed.

Fires are very common where I live and all farmers protect themselves by clearing the land for a couple of metres at the edges of their properties of trees and keeping the grass short in this area too. We do the grass cutting at the beginning of every fire season, which is wintertime for us

That's really good way for protection the environment from fire during drying season more especially where there are fire prone areas. Thanks for your comment.

You're welcome (^_^)

It's heart-wrenching to hear about the devastating impact of bush fires on the local communities and their livelihoods. Your insights on the effects on different crops and the ecosystem is valuable. I hope more attention is given to finding solutions to prevent future fire outbreaks and protecting our vegetation. Your contributions in educating farmers and encouraging them to seek assistance is commendable. Looking forward to hearing more ideas and solutions from everyone on how to mitigate this issue."

Thanks very much Bro. The fire outbreaks are seriously ruining a lot of property including humans. We are on the look out seeking good ways to eradicate the causes. Sure, we are embarking on fire campaign to curb the situation. Thanks for your good comment.
