The stone pine is a very special species. Bedroom furniture made from its wood is said to ensure a good night's sleep. I myself have already filled pillows with the shavings, an inexpensive option.

This pine species is really very interesting and is probably mainly native to the Alps. As soon as I find the time I will write something about this interesting tree. It will be exciting to see how it copes in your region. Hopefully not too well that it doesn't displace native species, which in my opinion can be a problem with neobionts (I don't know if this is the right word in English. I mean non-native plants that were planted there for the first time by humans).
