Hello dear friends of Hive Garden, I hope you are doing well. It is a pleasure for me to make my first publication in this beautiful community. My name is Luzmila Bracho and I am a nature lover and I love to plant plants in my garden.
Many years ago I moved with my daughter to a small newly built house on a huge piece of land where there was only one small oak tree that was right behind the house. That tree grew alongside my daughter and although I planted several fruit trees, that oak had the most meaning for me. There, at the back of the yard, my friend awaits me with singular trepidation. Every afternoon, at coffee time, we meet so that I can tell him about my desires, but also about my sadness. With him I heal the wounds left by loneliness, he listens to me attentively, without uttering a word, and heals my pain.
I learned to love him at a very young age because he taught me to connect from the soul. There hangs my hammock, where he cuddles me in a calm way. From there I listen to the sound of his leaves as the wind moves them and watch the birds approaching to welcome me. The singing of the birds and the old mobile that makes a lot of noise when the wind blows, makes this my favorite place and my sacred corner. He is my imposing oak tree, which I have always contemplated, who taught me that nature heals sadness.
Since then, I began to see life differently, I learned to contemplate nature with different eyes, to observe in detail what I could not see before because I was blind with so much nostalgia. I began to delight in the sounds, colors and smells that the environment offers us.
With all that synergy that was produced in that garden that became a magical place for me, I began to let flow all those beautiful feelings that emanated from my heart and I began to plant ornamental plants that embellished the place and left everything impregnated with its perfume, being a gift to the sight and the spirit. All this led me to look from my heart, with the certainty that the mind sometimes limits us, making us lower our self-esteem, causing insecurity, fear and suffering.
Here I am, sitting in my corner of light, enjoying the beautiful Christmas season with my Easter trees that I planted with so much love and that are covered with white Easter flowers, with my Christmas tree with its radiant red flowers and carnations, in an environment that fills me with joy, that makes me feel full, radiant and very happy this Christmas.

As I watch the butterflies fluttering among the flowers and perceive their rich aroma, I write these lines that lead me to reflect on the fact that the quieter our minds are, the more opportunity we have to listen to the voice of nature, making us see our inner beauty.
I hope you liked my first publication, I hope to return soon to this beautiful community to continue sharing the anecdotes of my garden.

You've got some nice flowers around your garden and I agree that sometimes, we need to surround ourselves with nature and listen to the voice of nature to make our mind calmer. Great to see Buddy! You look so cheerful with your garden. This reminds me of every Xmas holidays in my childhood days; when i would be going out with friends find Xmas trees to plant in 24th Dec. But that day hasn't reach yet. It's my pleasure joining you!
