Visiting my friend's plantation under the foot of Mount Sinabung

in HiveGarden25 days ago

That day was Sunday and we didn't have anything important to do. And I started playing with my Android then accidentally I saw my old friend was online and I asked him how he was at that time and asked many things because we hadn't seen each other for a long time. And right at that moment he invited me to play in his garden because that day he was going to visit his garden too to see the farmer he paid to plant cabbage and dragon fruit trees.

To get to the garden I had to travel 2 hours, but throughout the journey I didn't feel bored or tired because the trip to this place was very enjoyable. Actually, I have traveled to the foot of Mount Sinabung very often to see the view, but I have never been to my friend's garden because I just found out that my friend has a very large garden here and his garden is right under the foot of the mountain so the view is very beautiful. It's very beautiful and the people here are very friendly so I didn't feel at all awkward when I came to this place.

And when I arrived at the plantation I saw various types of plants and this plantation was a family plantation. The first one I saw was a white cabbage plantation. It seems that this plant is only a few weeks old, still very small and there is not the slightest sign that the cabbage will bear fruit. I don't really like cabbage, but if the view of a cabbage garden is like this I feel very happy as if it is a very nice view that I have encountered. Because actually this is not just about cabbage but about happiness when I see these plants growing well and green under the foot of Mount Sinabung. Really, this is quite an expensive sight because in my city, which has quite hot weather, cabbage plants cannot grow well.

It turns out that not only cabbage plants are planted in the garden, but there are also dragon fruit plants that are 3 months old and in between the dragon fruit plants there are chili plants. The use of this intercropping system is very common in Indonesia, the intercropping system itself is a system where one piece of land will be planted with various kinds of plants so that the harvest itself does not only depend on one type of plant. And you should know that to get to the location of the dragon fruit garden I have to climb a hill and this is a little tiring but I like it even though I have to stagger. And my friend's plantation is not yet harvest time, I will return to this garden when the harvest time has arrived. For now I will just enjoy the view of this plantation and breathe in as much fresh air as possible. Greetings from maytom, Indonesia
