How to graft with water
Our habit is to graft with soil, this time I want to share the technical experience of grafting tin with water for the #gardenjournal to contribute to @gardenhive fellows.
First, prepare the stems that are old and have potential roots as shown in the picture.
Take ac water or well water as a graft medium.
Spread onions on the bottom of the tin, onions contain root growth hormone.
If there is wax, cook it until it melts and dip the top and bottom of the tin to prevent evaporation, or you can do this manually.
Leave the plant in the water container for 1 week, and check the fig roots at the end of the day.
If the small roots of the figs have come out. Tin is ready to be planted in plant media.
Plant media composition:
- Soil
- Goat dung
- Black rice husk
Insert the tin graft into the farming medium.
Good luck
Happy Gardening.
