Yes, plants are incredibly expensive, and I think it's important to know what you're doing (I think you do), especially with the change of seasons (something that I need to get used to)... before I would be able to maintain a garden.
These potted plants are appealing and I think you and your wife should just have fun with it. You can both do it:)))

No we aren't back yet. Still three more weeks to go. But we do go back periodically through the week and on weekends to mow the lawn and do yard work and what not.
We do enjoy gardening. It's a nice way to spend time outside
