RE: Hell it's Windy Out There & Other 'I'm Back in The Garden' Stories

Is that the same wind that hit us last weekend? Freaking hell. We didn't get to 140 though. Your post is a slap to my face. Haven't been able to visit the ranch lately, plus there's nothing much happening there 😑 I show dad your posts, but he's never inspired by anything and can't read English

Your Dad is never inspired? That's a shame. If you lived there full time you might be able to really transform it.

Yeah, he's been like that for a while. He's always been, I guess. Depression, they say, but I think it otherwise. I mean... is it depression that takes people's inspiration, or people who are not interested in anything who get depressed? If there was a nice place to swim over there I'd move in for a while. But then mom would become depressed \o\ I'm in the middle of this crossfire.

Oh no I'm sorry you are in the middle of demanding parents. That's hard. Depression, who knows. Could be a lot of things. Definitely sounds like it could partly be mindset but once you get in these holes it's hard to get out. That's his journey, not yours.

Do you watch Alone? Just watched Season 11 and found it very inspiring.

Naw, is it a series? I don't usually watch anything really. Spending most of the time thinking about building a workshop and gathering tools off of internet \o

You would love Alone!!!! They drop people in places like Patagonia and the Arctic circle and the last one standing wins 500 k. Proper survivalists though and not sensational reality TV - just really awesome seeing how they build shelter, find food, and cope with being alone. Highly recommended!

Holy shoot! Now thats a challenge id take. Gonna look it up. It would be also interesting if they left a couple alone, so we could see how man and woman organize themselves together
