Freshly removed Honey from my Garden

in HiveGarden2 years ago

Some months back there was a Bee hive growing in my garden. Initially I was very scared of it as it was sitting right on my plant where I would water, but then gradually I started getting used to it and watered my plant carefully to not disturb the hive. It was sometime mid-November that it had formed and started growing.

Finally, yesterday we removed the Bee Hive and got the honey out of it. One of my hubby's friend is an expert in doing this and he does it with bare hands. I was really shocked to see how he was doing it without any gear or protection. He has been doing this since many years and has a knack of doing it. I was watching it from the glass door. Bees were not stinging him or that he was afraid. He was doing it very gently and with a calm mind and managed to remove the hive.

The full hive ready to be removed. It's growing in such a place that I cannot allow it to grow more. It's started touching the soil in the plant, so we had to remove it.

Our friend starts by first removing the bees on the side. He does it all with his hands as you can see

I was feeling scared looking at him, but he was very comfortable doing it.

He removes a part of the hive, ties it up on a small bamboo and keeps it aside. He told us that this in the end he will again join it up in the place where it's growing and from there on again there will be a new hive growing.

He starts to remove the honey combs

Very effortlessly he has managed to do it.

He asked us to keep the bowl in the Sun and all the honey would come out.

After this he arranged the honeycomb, he had tied on the bamboo stick back again where it had grown, and after 2 hours I saw, already all the bees had got back on it.

Whole morning, I kept it in the Sun and the honey is out, it's a small quantity, but I am still so excited that it's from my garden.

I need to let this bee hive again build up. The next to time to remove will be sometime in June, so till then again, I need to keep taking care of my plant and the hive as well.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Wow that's sooo amazing! Isn't it incredible how bees make their hives in nature? Some beekeepers are doing hives a bit more like this than the traditional box like frames.

How brave! I would have been afraid to even water the plant and I don't know if I would have put the honeycomb back in its place hehe.
And your friend is amazing, without any fear he accomplished his mission.

fantastic!!
my dear, you're so lucky to see it and now have result of it
YOUR OWN honey! fantastic!😍🎆❤️

I am so happy that's grown in my garden and will continue doing so. The amount of honey that's come out is very little, just a quarter of a bottle, but I am still super excited about it. Never imagined I will get honey from my garden :-)

This is quite impressive - everything. That you have this beehive right close to where you live is just special. What is even more impressive is that the man expertly removed the honey and none of the bees felt disturbed and he was not stung. So surprising.

He did it very tactfully and with easy without disturbing them, as if they were coordinating with each other.
Thank you for your visit

He is an expert in that. In your free time, remember to check out threads.

Hehe Being a hiver we should take care of bees. In result, we must get honey from it🤤😄. He is really brave to that.

Oh yes, he is just too good with this and he did it so gracefully.
