I blogged about the most intense and suspenseful school gardening almost 2 months ago. Every day brings excitement as to who will win in this big competition in school where the undying services of teachers and students are truly measured.
This time, I'm going to give some updates on how our plants enthusiastically give us blessings in return for the labor and efforts exerted for them to be healthy; the result of the school-based garden competition; and course my garden at home if how it is now in this summer season.
Since the main goal of this school program is to produce nutritious vegetables to be fed to the learners, we are doing our best and taking care of them religiously to reach our target.
The Secondary Department's Garden Update
Who would have thought that the small but terrible learners of Grade 7 can maintain their healthy vegetable plants? Obviously, they are sedulous in taking care of their garden. Good job studs!
The abundance of veggies can be seen in Grade 8 assiduous students. They used to have their feeding every Friday as they have a bountiful harvest from their garden.
My hand salute to the Grade 9 gardener enthusiasts for their never fading support and care for their gardens. They harvested and have undergone feeding already. So glad for them.
The impressive garden of the Grade 10 diligent students continue to bloom. Some of their vegetable plants are bearing fruits and they harvested some of them. The vibrance of the fiercely burgeoning beauty of the sunflower catches my attention. They are pleasing to my eyes and so sweet as they keep on following the sun. So incredible!
The senior high school teachers' and students' collaboration is very vivid as seen in their garden covered with green. Their fascinating garden is one-of-a-kind. The pineapple that keeps on bearing fruit is very sweet and we like it much.
The abundance of the harvest relies on the hands of the gardeners who nurtured them well. The roses added amazing beauty to the landscape, they are fantastic!
The Elementary Department's Garden Update
Their spectacular gardens are alluring to one's mind. Their plentiful harvest was enjoyed by their pupils and they have income from this too.
The trilles are covered with their bitter gourd already. It is so cool to look at. This is amazing! Some of them are bearing fruits now. On the ground, a variety of healthy vegetables were smiling happily at me too. My heart leaped for joy seeing them all healthy.
My Garden at Home, the Update
My ornamental plants here were surrounded by tenderness, love, and care. I'm so glad to gaze at them being healthy despite the extreme heat of the sun. I used to water them twice a day, in the morning and the very late afternoon.
It is flattering to my heart to have seen my Prince Albert together with my colorful Royal Queen and Agloe, so blooming. Every day it grows healthier and more captivating. My stress reliever.
My collections are getting more beautiful as time passes by.
I have added Peace Lilies which are marvelous to our surroundings. They added more beauty that truly attract one's attention to appreciate the purity of their flowers.
The Revelation
The long wait for this school-based gardening contest finally has come. The first placer was @rbtheniceguy, the second placer was @callmesmile and the third placer was @simplechalyns. The names of these bloggers became more famous and popular. They deserve this honor as they are doing their best! We are glad for them. My grand salute to them.
Nature herself does not distinguish between what seed it receives. It grows whatever seed is planted; this is the way life works. Be mindful of the seeds you plant today, as they will become the crop you harvest.
Thank you so much for reading my blog. To more gardening...

I am just here admiring how the space available has been utilised to the last inch and the inspiration that must bring even to the locals passing by. That must be a lot of produce when the harvest will be upon you and it can only translate to food security 👏💚
