Today I have chosen the @hivegarden community . because there are many gardeners on the this community ,but I think they don't know about this plant.
Therefore, in this community I thought that the value of those plants should be pointed out

This plant that I am introducing today may be in your garden but you may not know its value, so today let's talk about the value of this plant and its characteristics.
Maybe you have this plant planted in your garden but you may not know its benifits .This plant that I am sharing with you today is a very valuable plant that you should have in your home, it can be used for medicine.

The name of the plant is AkkaPana

Also, due to its properties, this Akkapana plant is nicknamed miracle leaf in many countries.
Here the Sinhala name is Akkapana and in English it is known as kalancioe Pinnata.

Living in the villages of Sri Lanka, the moment we remember the Akkapana plant, our memory goes back to our childhood.
When we were children, the leaves of this Akkapana plant were plucked and hidden between the pages of books.
After a few days we were very happy to see the roots growing out of the leaves. In fact, it was something we used to do as a game when we were children.

Akkapana plant, which is native to Madagascar, is a plant cultivated in Sri Lanka as well as in many tropical countries.Climatic condition does not affect this plant which grows in many parts of Sri Lanka. This plant naturally grows well in any climatic condition.
akkapana grow naturally in tropical regions and we can get that leaf as plant them at home.

Akkapana, a perennial plant, grows mostly in rocky areas.as a shrub, perhaps growing perpendicular to the ground to a height of about two feet

This plant can be called a plant that likes moisture and sunlight and can be grown on any soil surface and can be called a plant that likes shade.
You can see it from the images that I have shown, and I believe that you will understand it better when you see those images.These photos that I have shown you are Akkapana plants growing on a large rock near my house.

And this plant having light pink colour flowers.
The leaves of Akkapana plant are ovate shaped leaves. and this plant is having Fleshy leaves .
You can see the soil on the roots of this plant is very wet.

In fact, this plant is also have medicinal value, so I will show you the medicinal value of this plant.

If you find out more about this plant, you will understand this plant is a very special plant for urinary diseases peoples .

urinary diseases peoples can you this akkapana plant for your urinary problems.you can get it with your food.

People with urinary diseases make salad from this plant and take it for food like twice a month.
It can be described as the best wonderful medicine to dissolve bladder stones

Due to its cooling properties, this Akkapana plant is a very valuable medicine in local and Ayurvedic medicine.

According to local medicine, this plant can be indicated as a very valuable medicine to alleviate the defects in the digestive system in hemorrhoids.

Also, this plant can be used in as a medicine for acid reflux disease and inflammation of the stomach.

Also, the leaves of this plant are used for fractures, joint swelling or simple arthritis diseases.

Taking some leaves of this plant and grinding them into a paste and applying it can reduce the swelling and pain

And especially for people who sweat profusely, if their sweat is smelly, the medicine made from these leaves can be used for those peoples.

Also, you can make medicines using the leaves of this plant to reduce the pain caused by the tooth for certain skin injuries and diseases.
