Yes, we are very fortunate to have so much space to use... that is part of what made us choose to move here - a big yard that is essentially a blank canvas. Sometimes that is overwhelming, trying to figure out what to put where, and build things up, but one thing at a time!
In our old home, we were living in the basement of a house, with very little space. We had a small concrete patio with a garden bed along one side, which was full of herbs that the landlord planted... but we got creative and started planting things in pots so we could grow a few things of our own. It's amazing what you can do with a small space if you put your mind to it... and look for inspiration online. 😉
