We were raised by our parents from farming. That was the basic source of income that we had when we were a child. They trained us how to do everything from sowing the seeds, how to care for the plants, and how to harvest. I missed those days in Bohol, Philippines. From birth, until 17 years old I stayed there and migrated to Davao where I found my family. There in Davao, I have never been gone through farming, I worked in an establishment and had a business where I became a failure and caused me to fly going here in Saudi Arabia. 24 years away from home and I was just so happy that I owned a little garden here in my employer's residence. I am @olivia08 to tell you how I put greenery in front of my employer's house.
How do I start my garden?
Looking back, we only lived in a small house, and when they told me that their mansion was ready for us to stay. I told them to give me vacant space for a vegetable and flowers. They listened to me. I planted Arabian jasmine because it is their favorite flower of all time. Then I planted okra, eggplant, tomatoes, bell pepper, kangkong, moringa, and lemongrass. It became a talk of the town how I did it in the desert land? They were the happiest employer, so grateful to me. But I got a problem during sandstorm season, it killed my plant. The dust granules staked to the leaves of the plant and die. What I did is to change and replant all over again and again.
My latest garden
The bougainvillea is gracefully blooming in different colors. I planted it 4 months ago and I love the way how I successfully did it.
It grows taller and the flowers look lovely on the top.
The shortest but it has a different style of flower.
They have different variations and I only knew the old bougainvillea.
My boss told me that he wants the bougainvillea will cover all the umbrellas installed outside for the cars. I hope to see it sooner and it becomes a vineyard as he wished for. My male boss love visiting the garden but my lady boss is not much concerned about it.
Aside from the bougainvillea, I have more Arabian Jasmine and it is the Sampaguita in the Philippines, our National flowers.
Arabian Jasmine flowers are being used for brides and female visitors. They wore it as earnings, garlands, and crowns covering their heads during their wedding.
I used one of the garlands during the wedding of my employer's daughter.
This is made up of Sampaguita or Arabian jasmine. I know how to make it and it is a time-consuming garland that needs patients.
These are my new harvest. It requires to harvest daily before sundown. More blooms come if you do it regularly. When we forget to pick it, the fragrance will be spreading around the garden but there will no flowers coming in the next day.
I planted it in the left side of the staircase going to the main door.
The disturbing papaya plant grows together with the Sampaguita. I hope to see
In the right side, the Sampaguita are being disturbed by the periwinkle flowers. This is a place for periwinkle plants for 10 years. Just this year, I replaced it with Sampaguita flowers.
These are only my two kinds of flowers in the garden. Next time, I am willing to share with you all the contents of my garden. I am running out of time now so better next time.
I would like to say thank you to @ace108 for #beautifulsunday and @coff33a for #sublimesunday initiative.
Thank you so much to the #hivegarden community. I am hoping that you welcome me here.
Hive on!

Following your garden journey ate Devs in the dessert. I really like to read it. So inspiring because as you can see, I was so biased on my thinking. I really thought nothing can grow in a dessert rather than cacti and hardy palm trees. But look at that, you have flowers and even malunggay. More to this journey. Sending loves from NCR.
Thank you so much my dear. Nothing is impossible under the heat of the sun hehehe. I water them everyday and night. Dagdag trabaho but it made me happy.

It's not easy you have to be away from Bohol. Fortunately, you have a good employer. I'm sure, the garden can bring you happiness and cheer you up a little when you feel homesick.
I also have bougainvillea at home. The bougainvillea in your garden looks beautiful, so does the color of your garden walls.
Yes, I tied it up so it grows in one way upward. Its grow to follow the rope. It has different varieties too. Thank you @anggreklestari. Do you know about Bohol Philippines?
I know about Bohol Philippines from Hivers. I saw lots of posts about Bohol. I want to go there if the border is opened for tourists again :)
Thank you dear. Insha'Allah everything will be alright.
