RE: From Seeds to Seedlings

in HiveGarden3 years ago

Hooray for sprouts! Looking good so far, Victor. I just planted my tomato seeds this weekend. Along with some pumpkins, Candy Roaster squash, zucchini and two types of patty pan squash. I planted some beans about mid-week last week, so I'm hoping to see some green pop up soon. I direct-sowed them into the bed, so fingers crossed the bugs haven't had time to wake up from their winter slumber yet to munch on them once they sprout, haha.

I am really excited for your three sisters combos. Hope they both work out well!

Thank you! So far I'm a little concerned that there is no green in the sister pots, but it has only been a week. Crossing fingers! It's still early enough to start over if I need to.

Patience truly is a virtue when gardening! Definitely still time to sprout. We often plant in waves, too, since besides just germination issues we also have to contend with the bugs then eating the small seedlings once we transplant to the garden, too. Hungry little buggers, haha.
