RE: mushroom identification

in HiveGarden3 months ago

Bay bolete? I very much doubt it is
grey coral mushroom - ok,
red pine mushroom - ok (thats delicious mushroom, one of the best out there nature gives us!)
Witches' bolete - probably correct
honey agaric - they always pop up in huge families, well packed. if you noticed only 2 - probably this is a different specie
cauliflower - ok, it is it; very good meaty edible shroom
red cracking bolete - yes, it is. (Xerocoméllus chrysénteron)

NB - I feel a bit confused - why post this in HiveGarden, when we have FungiLovers community...

Perhaps an error? When we have spare votes we often pop to Fungi Lovers to upvote quality mushroom posts.

I know which mushrooms they are - just not their english names :D

haha, all good mate :D
I just never was good with tags and you are right, this would probably fit even better in the fungi community <3 :)

Oh! Seems I got you wrong, then. The easiest way then is to google out the EN names. When I know the common, scientific, Latin name - it is not a problem at all.

The simplest way is just > enter to community page > press POST button > compose your post; this way it definitely will be published to this hub, not to any other. > > > Fungi Lovers | Fungi Friday
