There is this one spot of our home that I have stopped visiting for almost two months now because my oldies ordered me not to do so. It involves some scary stuff, but let's not talk further about that scary stuff and just proceed to the main topic, lol (≧▽≦). Because after two months, I finally got to visit it again and saw some changes closely for months that I didn't visit it.
But before that, long story short, the main reason why I got to that spot was because of the idea I suddenly had while resting, it's just about a subject for a photoshoot that I'm planning, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted it. I can't get the right angle because I can't still move my head much because of my nose. So after failing miserably, I just decided to do something else, and that was when I saw the small river in the backyard.
It was really hot that day, but that could not stop me from strolling a little bit in the backyard, where this small river is located. And I noticed that some plants are starting to grow there again. I'm not sure what kind of plant that is, but it looks pretty. And I'm not sure why it grows in there. And you know, whenever I see that small river there, I always feel nostalgia because it is a part of my childhood.
I still remember how clear the water was in here. It is part of our playground too, as we often get in there and play with other kids. It is sad that the fish and snails that we can often see clearly in there are now gone and are now full of dirt. Of course, the blame is also on the people. Some people just like to throw things everywhere, like the whole place is like their own trash can. But, the good news is, the mayor in our place gave some people a task to clean this small stream. I think they only do it three times a year. Although it is full again with dried leaves, I can say that this looks much better now than before.
Anyway, moving on to the garden, which is also located on this spot - just near the wall on that small stream. Our second guava tree is still slowly growing and is still giving us a happy harvest. Although we really do not do harvesting, we just get two to three pieces to eat. So if someone is craving this, they just have to go visit this area and harvest it on their own. And we have a policy here: "Get just what you need and whatever amount you can eat." Well, to make sure that nothing will be wasted.
But you know what's more amazing about this young guava tree? Even the small fruit can be eaten already, just use your fingernail, and if it penetrates smoothly into the guava fruit, then it's good to go. That's how we find a not-so-ripe guava. Easy peasy, no? How about you? Mother is the regular visitor of this yong guava tree. As for me, I'm not that fond of guava fruit now compared to when I was young, when I often ate whenever there's a ripe guava. The most exciting part of eating this is when you eat on top of that guava tree, lol. It's fun and really exciting experience, lol.
By the way, who loves Taro here? We have them in our backyard. They are growing everywhere, but some of them were already dug out by the old couple living on Mom's land. They can easily grow here in our backyard, but I never once tried them. But according to Mama, when she tries one of them, it's not a good plant because it's kind of itchy when she eats it. I'm not sure why.
So, I continue inspecting the backyard because I know I can still find something amazing in there. And I was right, Uwu. Because I spotted these two here having their "loving loving moment." But what if they are actually having an affair? And both already have partners? OMG! This is the tea, but for the insect world only, haha. But kidding aside, they are pretty, no? I'm just not sure if I should be wary of them, are they like a very nasty insect or what? This is not the first time I have seen their kind, actually. But I still don't know their name.
That's not the only insect I captured on that tree, but also this. It is so small that I had a hard time getting a decent photo. With a shaky hand like mine, it's much harder because of that. As for the insect, are they like a wasp making its nest on that leaf? I think it is. And it is making a nest alone. Look how small the nest is too, I think it is still in the process of being made. It's so cool witnessing this, seriously! This is the reason why I love to have my walk on this part of our home, because I can discover a lot of interesting things.
And lastly! A Pupa? I often find something like this in this tree. But I always forgot to check on them and see if they had already become an insect, a bee, a moth, or maybe a beetle. It'll be awesome to place a camera there and watch it fully develop, but I don't have enough tools to do that, and as I said, I'm really forgetful. Anyhow, I love its color.
I knew it, visiting here is really the best thing to do. Because look what I found, right? They may be a normal sight to some already, but for me, it's a beautiful sight that I will always enjoy. That's why having a few trees on your land is a must! Just be hopeful that it's not a snake that we can find there, lolol.

I agree that eating guava above the tree is more fun! I used to do it until high-school but when I went to college, our tree died. It had probably gotten sad.

Hahaha, that's seriously ana amazing experience during our childhood no. It's sad that is died. But they can easily grow in a yard, in fact the second guava tree grow on its own like no one planted it. But maybe because of those overripe na nahulog sa lupa, then natuyo, tapos ayon lumago.
