RE: Spring love #gardenjournal

in HiveGarden3 years ago

That moment when everything begins to show growth is very magical, we are on the opposite moment when fall is beginning to to put everything to rest. We've mainly been harvesting seeds these days and focused on building still so we've put blogging aside until we can finally move in to our new place. Your invitation got us motivated to do a #gardenjournal entry so soon some news on what's going over here.

Were curious on why you plant yarrow. Here it grows as a weed. Do you grow it for medicine or soil repair?

Oh yes, we are definitely in two opposite seasons. It is indeed magical here now, but I also love the moment of harvesting seeds and observing this transformation of nature coming into rest.
So happy the building is moving on, I look forward to reading more on this! I hope the weather is good with you!

Yarrow is for medicinal purposes, but also for fabric natural dye.
Not so common in our region, although very common in Greece in general. Good to know that is good for soil repair too, thanks for the precious info :)
