Building with uncertainties

The garden this year has gone through lot of uncertainties. Some of you who regularly have seen my blogs must be knowing that the road in front of our society was getting renovated making it a 100ft road and at a particular time, it felt like, the entire area in the front would be taken for the expansion. However, after several months of work, it appeared, they are leaving this area, but the road is exactly in front of our gate. Keeping the safety in view, our society thought, they would build another road through this area, where my pots are kept. So from roof top, these pots came here, and then they had a undecided future amid which, I decided to continue to build for winter. It's so bad that it takes so much time to have something conclusive, but that is how things work in reality.

This circular patch was solely built few years back for beautification during winter, but since the society was not undecided to take the road through this, they did not give any interest to build this. So I took everything in my hands, and decided to plant here as well. At the worst case, they will be destroyed, but if that does not happen, we will experience some joy in the winter at least.

So this is how it started, I planted some saplings for the circular patch to reduce cost and once they grew, they were planted in the outer circle. And then for my pots, I got some french inca and Zinnia saplings from the nursery.

The person asked for some tips and I happily paid a little to him, it's because of their hard work, we get these plants. They don't get a lot of money as salary, but still they are very much dedicated for their work which I like a lot.

Some fresh Orchid procured by them for sell, when I went to get my saplings, I captured them for my memory lane, you can see my saplings kept besides them. Flowers always give us joy, isn't it ?

20241012_133232.jpg

I asked for few Zinnia saplings, but seems the person was happy with the tips and gave a lot of them.

20241012_115250.jpg

I always plant these very small saplings in a pot first, allow them to grow a little bigger and then take it to the pots.

20241019_162802.jpg

20241012_162550.jpg

Once I feel, they are strong enough to survive, they go to their destination.

20241116_061134.jpg

So with almost two months of care, they have shaped up well this time.

20241116_082459.jpg

20241116_082520.jpg

Only sea weed and bone meal fertilizer ( both organic) have been used so far. From experience I have seen plants flower for long, if organic food is used.

20241116_123844.jpg

Unfortunately we have a mutant variety of predators coming from the other side of the wall who can eat one plant in a day. And they got a nice home in the Drumstick plant. I never use chemical fertilizers, but to prevent these predators, I had to spray some poison on top of all the plants nearby. At least the soil is mostly fed with organic food.

You can see the big plant above, they have make a feast of this plant three times, and I am in a continuous fight with them. Gardening is so much fun, even though, hard.

20241007_091522.jpg

So I went to their source with the gardener and asked him to cut their routes.

And we have a company taking care of insecticides, every week, so given instructions to them to spray some tough medicine across the walls.

Don't know why I have so much passion for these plants, anyone hurting my plants affects my mood badly. And now let me show you some very early results :

20241123_090850.jpg

Watch this flower closely, a pink brick patter petals - nature is amazing. The joy of feeling the beauty of this justifies all the hard work. This was my first attempt to plant Zinnia, next time you will see a lot of them (of course if this patch stays).

A lot of people appreciate my work, but then there are some who ask me why I take so much pain at this age. Passion does not stop, does it ? At least till I am capable, I don't think, I can stop loving plants.

Unfortunately I can't stop some people taking away these flowers, fixing the CC TV is the only way to show them proof and fight with them, but that's still not done. Trying to get it fixed ASAP, but certainly feels excited to have some nice results in coming days, will post more about them.

Zinnia has always been my favorite, and it is a typical winter flower.

You have a big garden, Sir. I am sure by December it will be full of flowers. Your hard work will paid for by the blossoming flowers.

Thank you.

Coastal states generally have short winters. You are right on time. The saplings look very healthy. I wish that the road take a diversion and does not tresspass this garden. Good Luck.

great job friend and don't be uncertain that all those plants will grow in a short time and you will be able to enjoy their beauty. Furthermore, creating a circular patch in this way gives it a very interesting aesthetic vision.

The garden looks so beautiful. Those orchids are really good for beautification. Hopefully, your garden will stay there as it is.

Hopefully....

It's obvious you put a lot of effort and work in gardening, all the samplings are beautiful... So bad not knowing what they gonna do with the road

Those caterpillars are dangerous for plants, remove them everywhere ASAP, they can hurt other animals too like dogs

Yes, we no longer see those caterpillars , the insecticide company did a good job.

Flowers really spread happiness all around. Your garden is so beautiful, love those little flowers. Spending time with plants is like celebrating life!🪴🥰

Realmente tu orden , belleza y dedicación con el jardín es impresionante te felicito amigo mío.

The good thing about you, my friend, is your persistence in continuing to build your garden and that will help you to have the best possible plants by the end of 2024.

It is an excellent job of gardening, the organization of the plants is very eloquent. Congratulations dear friend @sanjeevm

It’s nice

Thank you.

You live in a very good area
You’ve got good neighbors too
Nice!

Nice to see you gardening again. They're so pretty! It is one of my plans in the future.

Friend, I was very happy to see your garden. I know you have worked hard to make this garden. Because I have read this from many of your previous blogs. You are doing a very beautiful job. I know this is your hobby. Keep up your hobby and be happy. Take care.

Good morning dear friend @sanjeevm
I'm glad that despite your indecisions you haven't stopped working with your plants, and now you're seeing some results
I'm sorry those predators are getting closer to the garden
I appreciate you sharing this experience. Great job
Have a beautiful day

despite your indecisions you haven't stopped working with your plants

I thought at best, they would be gone, but nothing has happened and I am sure, we are going to enjoy the winter with flowers.

@tipu curate

I wish I had people helping me and giving stuff like they do for you, you live in a fabulous place!

No one helps me, I do it all alone. Its a lot, but the passion kicks me.

You have a massive garden and the flowers are looking beautiful.

Thank you, more is coming, when they all flower, the view will be stunning.

You choose the beautiful flowers, sir.

To make them stop picking the flowers sir, give them seedlings so that they can have the flowers unlimitedly. Hheheh

give them seedlings so that they can have the flowers unlimitedly

Well, they definitely don't want to do anything...

Oh.. that's the sad thing sir.. They just want an easy life without thinking of the person who made efforts to make the flowers bloom beautifully.

Ya, 99% of the world is like that.

True sir.. reality check.🥲

I love the work you are doing in that patch of land, you have put in so much work, I just pray the society doesn't take it away from you.

Hopefully...lets see.

Those gardens are really looking so fresh I must truly admit. Definitely you have been working for days and weeks to maintain it

The uniform for this plants is very unique especially the circular motion. What manure do you use in it to make them this fresh and healthy

I just hope that all these beautiful plants would continue to have a home.
